Yesterday, 1 pm no one in line. 4 guys waiting for paperwork.  15 minutes to register long gun.

Back at 2pm. 6th in line. 40 minutes to register long gun. ( Had to check Ward SA as was in the area and there was no line )

5/15/13 - Arrived at ~1:40pm, 1 person in front of me.  Registered two items, left at ~2:00pm with no one in line.
The last 5-minutes before I left I was the only one in there, it was surreal.

Do they still close the doors at 3pm?

Edit: Texted someone and sign still posted saying they close doors at 3pm. The notice says close at 3pm because of increased lines, but I figured not too bad now so should be normal operating hours. It would be nice for me to go in after work.

In and out of Hilo twice today.  Picking up the permit took all of 30 seconds, registering under 5 minutes.

twice to HPD today. First trip to pick up permits (pistol and long gun). From parking garage to picking them up and back to parking garage...8 minutes. Second time, actually registering my Glock...about 20 minutes. First time was about 1:00ish and second time was however long it took to get from OGC back to HPD.

It is definitely getting better... makes me wonder if satellite registration (with increased Firearm Registration Fees) is actually necessary...

Just wait until after the next school shooting, big price drop/sale, or (God forbid) Double Barrel Joe Biden gets elected as President!!   :wtf:

There should never be any fees, ever.
They should also be required to have multiple locations for gun owners. You know, as a public service

line at 12:30 pm has 10 people, lots of military.  looks like a longer wait than expected to register.
