Got there at 8:40. Applying for handgun permit. Two people ahead of me: 1 person filling out forms and 1 person picking up gun. Guy after me, from out of state,  had 17 guns to register. Lucky, I was in front of him.  I finished at 9:10. :)

6/14/13 - Arrived at ~10:20am, 4 people in front of me.  Applied for permit, left at ~10:51am with 9 people in line.

In at 7:55. Out at. 8:12. Used 19 min on HPD meter In the garage. Registered one rifle using the online PDF.

just went in to register a rifle yesterday around 10.45am, fastest I ever was in and out of there!  There were only about 7 people in front of me including the few sitting inside waiting on permits/registrations, I was out of there in less than a half hour including waiting for my reg...

Applied for 2 handgun permits 1 guy in front of me.  In: 10:40  Out:  10:55.  Processed online paperwork, I just needed to sign & I was out of there!!
 HPD officers did a great job!

yes, they did a great job!
as soon as the doors opened this morning an officer came out asking if anyone is picking up paperwork.

i did the online forms too.
only the firearm info form was no good, bc they need it with the carbon copies

WOW!!! Things finally got back to normal there for now. Registered another rifle yesterday, I was da 4th guy in line & after me there was no 1 in line even after i left around 11:50am. Da 2 officers looked really bored after lol..

Things picked up after lunch.  2 rifles and a pistol permit took a hour.  Still not bad considering the wait times earlier in the year.  I still would like to see satellite stations in Kapolei and Kaneohe.  Driving in town is a major BEEEEEYATCH!
