i also believe powder and primers are not supposed to be at the blaisdell...

the only Dillon dealer is WGS. They may have a table. Powder and primers are in very short supply. I did see cases of UNIS/GiNEX primers at WGS on Thursday.

HHAA does not allow the sale of gun powder at the show.  IDK why that is; primers and other components are OK.

As someone who's never been, is this cash only or do they take CCs?

The commercial vendors generally accept CC.  The private sellers mostly take only cash

No carts during show hours unless escorted by a show committee member.
Babies in strollers are exempt.

Thanks for the replies.  We didn’t get any heat for having kids in a wagon type stroller.

This gun show was very slow.  IDK if it's cause the range is closed.  But usually YG and SEC have long lines to buy ammo on saturday morning. Like 20 min wait to buy something. This time, it was like no weight.

And ammo is cheaper than what it was in March, so it's not the prices.

Personally, I didn't buy ammo for the first time because IDK when I'm going to shoot it.  I have a comfortable amount and I typically replace as I shoot. Haven't shot in Sept until who knows when.

Met a guy form Maui who has his CCW.  He will show up tomorrow and ask why HPD is making so many requirements when MPD isn't.  I think this might be the most powerful testimony.

Met a couple from Vegas who have their CCW.  Petite asian woman, and not your typical looking white gal (wears 5.11 pants and trucker hat, etc...).  She mentioned she too had to disarm when she was at the pool at Circa.  They did a bag check, so she had to go to their armory.  She hasn't taken a official defensive type handgun class, only the class that is required for CCW. I suggested she do so and she will sign up once they go back home.  She did the simulator that HIFICO had, which opened up her eyes to how fast things happen.

They both thought HI's gun laws are BS.
