"I don't know what it takes to purchase a firearm, but I believe there should be more restrictions" (or something like that). . . One common thread I've noticed in these types of videos are the "woke" say they know, but usually have no idea.  Not limited to knowledge of firearms. 

"Teaching" firearm use and safety    Ok to point the gun at me because I know it's not loaded bruh. . .

Give him cred for going out there and increasing awareness, and on them for being open to have the discussion and try shooting.  Where after trying for themselves, seems like they warmed to firearm ownership.  I have had more than a few good friends' significant others go through similar.  Maybe not quite wanting to buy a firearm, but more open to their hushand or BF buying more and shooting more often.

There's a guy who went out and asking people to ban a plasma rifle. Then he talked specs when some asked what that is. It went like "direct energy weapon that emits 20,000 joules of concentrated plasma via a paralaxium crystal".  Then they were all for the banning of it.

I've seen "clusters" of reposts every few months from his channel.  I think they recycle a lot of the "Change My Mind" videos which updates the date posted. 

Seems to happen when he's not there (Dave is sitting in for Steven this week).

It's understandable, since so many of his videos are blocked or taken down even when there are no identifiable violations.  That reduces the likes, shares and recommendations.  Reposting might make up for some of that revenue loss.  I also think sometimes YT tells him they removed the strike, but he needs to delete and re-upload the video to clear the "blockage."  That of course deletes all viewer comments and engagement which in turn cuts into his potential revenue.

This video was shot a couple of years before his surgery.  He needed to have a metal "cage" implanted in his chest to keep his concave breastbone from pressing on his heart.  He had low heart rate and respiratory issues prior to that surgery.  He even reported that the condition stopped him from breathing during the taping of one of his shows.
