In 2017 my 02 Tundra X cab at a dead stop in the road was rear ended full on by a F-350.
Concussion and neck/back injuries "acquired"
    Along with the concussion I had Anomic Aphasia. Could understand written and spoken words, but had difficulty responding.
Just couldn't find the right noun. verbs were OK
Wanted to say cow, said steak,
truck = go,
yard = grass,
legs = pants,
sock  = foot
and so on.
Lasted for about 3 months, super frustrating.

   Those with Broca's Aphasia have difficulty with word retrieval, or anomia. and comprehend spoken and written language better than they can speak or write.

   I would think Fetterboy has Conduction Aphasia which is deficits in the connections between the speech-comprehension and speech-production areas.

According to the candidate and his campaign, he can fully understand written words, but his brain doesn't interpret spoken words as clearly.  That's why he was allowed to use a closed captioning device to feed him the questions from the moderators and statements from Dr. Oz.

After the debate, his campaign complained that the CC system was laggy and fraught with errors.  The problem with that is the studio offered both candidates the chance for two rehearsals, of which Fedderman only availed himself of one rehearsal.  The debate managers said the CC system functioned perfectly in rehearsal, and it was the exact same performance during the debate.

Basically, he was blaming technology that he relies upon for not performing well in the debate.  That's probably what we could expect from him if elected.  Can't do the job without technological assistance, and when things go badly, it was the technology's fault.

I remember a Law & Order episode in which a brain damaged boy was unable to speak, but was able to type words on a computer with the assistance of his caregiver.

After questioning the boy in court, the prosecutors realized what was happening.  They then asked that the caregiver be placed where she could not see the cards the prosecutor was holding up, but where the boy could.  When the caregiver was able to see the cards, the answers were 100% accurate.  But, when the caregiver didn't have the ability to see the cards, the boy's answers were 100% wrong.

I can imaging how easy it would be for someone in charge of hypothetical Senator Fedderman's texting and closed captioning to get him to do or say anything they wanted.

Just saying, when you're dependent on others to do your job, who's really doing the job?

If you asked an intelligent question, I might address that.

If you posted an intelligent topic, we'd have some intelligent questions.

Most of your posts are of other people's opinions.  You can't answer questions when you only know what those people spoon fed you.

My compassion for what he's struggling with prevents me from making fun of anything he says.

This is the best representation of the Democrat Party anyone could have offered the public:  if you're voting for the other guy because you think he is better able to do the job, then you obviously have some "phobia" or hate people "like him."

After Biden won, this was the obvious next phase.  Put up candidates voters would feel guilty for not choosing.
Vote by emotion is the only play they have. And it works to the sheep.

Fetterman’s greed put him in this position. He could have stepped down and let someone else who actually had a chance take a shot.

This is that one in a million scenario where it’s actually okay to laugh.

Its sad really. Guess other forums xhe visits use feelings over facts. So when xhe comes to a fact based forum, its very difficult for 1 to make any good arguments.

Its like trying to argue that 1+1=purple apple tire seeds.

Today is October 27th, 2022 and Joe Biden is the WORST President in US history.

I didn't say I wasn't laughing.   :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Just that I can't be the one making the jokes.   :popcorn:

Dr. Oz is sitting at about 68% chance of winning, and Fetterman is at 36%.  The post-debate trend is that Oz saw a huge bump, and Fetterman a huge drop, in support.

The people we should be making fun of are the media.  They've tried to interpret what Fetterman said in the debate, like "I'm for fracking, and not."  There's no way to know which is the truth, other than his past comments ON VIDEO saying he's against fracking and it has to end.

PA as a state is a huge proponent of fracking.

Where the hell are you getting your information or do you just like spreading misinformation?

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/senate/2022/pennsylvania/

You're right.  I apologize.

https://timcast.com/news/fetterman-tanks-in-prediction-market-after-debate-with-dr-oz-clips-of-mental-damage-go-viral/

Oz is now a 73% favorite, not 66%.

Hard to keep up with his numbers going up so frequently.

p.s.  Bookmaking sites predict who is likely to win based on actual facts, not polls that can't predict turnout, whether participants will actually vote, etc.  These sites are on the whole more accurate than any political polling agency.

     Funny, 538 poll #'s do not even jive with the mainstream media panic numbers.
They're already going into ' 'THE ELECTION HAS BEEN STOLEN  ! ! ! ''

   Even Woke-a-pedia said......
"FiveThirtyEight,  said Donald Trump had a lower probability of victory in the 2016 presidential election than Hillary Clinton.
They gave Trump a 28% chance of victory going into election day
