Considering the Democrats in power are the ones who were mostly curtailing our rights during the pandemic, I imagine the lessons are applicable to more that just the "far right extremists". 

Fascism knows no political party affiliation.

I listened to the audio sample on Amazon for that book.

This is so stupid.  I read a book by Dean Koontz called Lightning about the Nazis developing time travel, going into the future, and learning from historical books and newspapers where they made their big mistakes in WWII. They'd then return to their own time and attempt to not make the same mistakes.

Sounds like Mr. Mason read Koontz's book, too, and decided to steal the premise as a "thought experiment" giving it an anti-Right-Wing spin in the process.

This man is far from an expert in any single field, since he writes pretty much about anything and everything.  Not the person I would trust for an unbiased opinion in matters of "Fascism" or anything else political.

He's an author by trade, not an expert in political science turned author.  Do the math.

My point is, the guy writes about anything and everything.  People normally buy books that align with their own beliefs and ideas.  He's targeting the gullible Left by writing about the big bad evil Far Right.

Obviously, there's no money in trying to sell his snake oil to the right, because the Left is completely transparent and overt with their acts of Fascism.

Keep voting Republican and lose your democracy and your right to change it with a vote.  Republicans openly admit they are against free and fair elections. Republicans want the power to ignore the vote and put whoever they deem appropriate in power.
