As the title suggests,

Wal-mart still has the 20lbs. rice for $8.98.

Sears Optical has prescription glasses on special, 2 pairs for $99.00. Excellent deal for keeping a spare pair in the car, bug out bag, retreat, range bag, etc.

Safeway has 24 packs of bottled water for $3.99 (not counting the hi-fi fee and tax).

Longs had/has cans of tuna in either water or oil going for $0.69  It's probably the cheapest I've seen tuna in a while.  I knew it was a good deal when I saw the little old ladies bumping elbows just to fill up their baskets so full they could barely carry them. 

Longs has some great deals and when that yellow book comes out in the mail, you better watch out for those little old ladies

Yes they can be quite ravenous for sales.

I picked up a back up hurricane oil lamp from wal-mart for $6.  I got it just in case all the candles and the batteries are gone.  We'll see how the review goes.

Foodland has a sale on Campbells Chunky soups.  2 for $5.  But be careful, one can I picked up was expired 05/10.  Gotta go back and return that.  Usual price is $4.50 each.  Limit 6.

Darn forgot to mention, Sports Authority had Reminton 22LR 525 rounds for $20.  Got it last week, might be out already.

CFL lightbulbs are rediculous cheap at costco right now. I bought like 15 bulbs, for less then 12 bucks the other day.

Speaking of CFL bulbs, when I was at Sams Club the clerk told me 3 pack 60 watts would be on sale for $0.47. Just a heads up if you still need some.

Those lightbulbs are still on sale at costco from what I saw the other day.  I think the Hawaiian Electric is doing some sort of program to save $$$ o rsomething overall.
