Safeway has groundbeef, pot roast and certain chicken for "Buy One get One FREE"!!!!!!!! My wife went food shopping this morning.

They also have cans of Coral Tuna in oil for $0.79 each, and 18-pack of vienna Sausages for $5.99.  A word of warning about buying from Longs, be sure to inspect each can thoroughly.  I've found a lot of the cans they sell are dented or damaged.  According to the GF and her human nutrition class, even minor dents can greatly reduce shelf-life and edibility. 

Tonight I bought a dozen cans of baked beans, a dozen cans of tuna, and an 18 pack of vienna sausages and the cashier lady gave me a funny look.  I just laughed and told her we're overdue for a hurricane and I'm stocking up. .   

Thanks on the info on dented cans.  I guess I gotta eat those first. =)

spam $1.89/can at Target Kapolei.  I haven't been to Costco in awhile, but a few months ago, the packs came out to $2 each can.
