Yup, 2 ranges i called allowed u to.

1 didnt because they dont allow personal guns. They are 100% rental.

Also Range 702 allowed me to draw with no additional class/charge.

Miss bringing my own ammo. Used to go to RANGE702, Gun Garage (closed) and Discount Firearms over on Highland. American Shooters on Spring Mountain used to also but haven't been to any of those in years now. There were a couple ranges on the north end of town that I know of too but they were too far away. I lived in Spring Valley (Trop & Jones)

If u shoot less than 3k a year of 9mm, then its a bad deal. And esp if u shoot 1k of 9mm a year.

1k per year?  There was a time when I shot close to 1k/month.  That time is long gone though.  I was getting back to about there this past summer, as my work schedule loosened up. . . but then range shut down. . .

Between me and my son we were at 1k a month or more. I'm close to that myself now, I shoot mostly reloads though. Will X-ring let you bring someone? or will they have to pay $25 to join you.

I read the conversation in the post the other day, but was a little unclear. Do they offer it monthly as well? It mentioned $100/month, but it sounded more like a price breakdown because I would think longer membership would be a discounted price.

I had a bad experience shooting there when they first opened.  Went there to teach someone how to shoot.  No coaching.  Then they said I couldn't bring tape or pen inside.  I'm like wow.  That and all of their holster and rapid fire fees and other past issues.

X-Ring doesn't seem like a business I would like to patronize.  I'm thinking, what if you go with a friend and you just want to give him a few useful tips?  What if your friend is a newbie and is flagging the gun all over the place?  Do you shut up because "no can teach in hea?"

Looks like the place is set up to "pay to play".  And pay and pay and pay again.  Maybe even gotta pay to leave the place when done.
