I'm pretty sure that "doubled" is vastly understated, nobody really has a clue.
No gun owner I know, that unless it is to a trusted friend, will voluntarily admit to a poll,
government,  or many people we interact with, like co-workers
anything about our gun ownership and usage.
Gun registration in Hawaii is not voluntary, it is a bad law.

The report shows that the "ainokea" permit is also being used in States that require permits and still carry them in places banned to those with permits to carry.

When state governments put unconstitutional restrictions on the right to carry for self defense, what happens is the ainokea permit is born.

California, New York, and other states, along with the ass-kissing banana republic known as Hawaii will find out soon enough.

A lot of citizens will adopt the attitude: "Better to be judged by 12 than be carried by six."

I know 13 people with Hawaii Ainokea permits. One has had his permit for almost 14 years. These would not report carrying on any poll.

The increase should not come as a surprise, especially after an extended period where Gov't essentially we got overwhelmed and you're on your own.  Not surprised that people have been carrying without permits, nor ignoring the "feel safe/good" signs.  With doubling of people carrying, doesn't support accusations of "wild west" breaking out. . .

Is there a way to find out how many CCW holders commited crimes or active shootings?  Asking cause for the Oahu sensitive places bill, the anti gunners think that CCW holders commit these crimes, which is why they're afraid.
