7 revolver problems

I like this guy's channel. he does good reviews
but, he's wrong this time
he should have named this video 7 differences between a revolver and a semiauto
all these 7 problems he lists are not problems, they are merely differences between a revolver and a semiauto
the break down:
1.  cylinder gets gummed up faster that a semiauto - sure it does.  you may have to clean it after a few hundred rounds.  that's just how a revolver is.  its not a problem, that's just how it goes
2.  timing issue - not a problem.  just practice and learn how to fire a revolver.  no problem
3.  linkage in DA trigger - not a problem.  just practice your DA trigger pull.  yes it is longer than SA and a striker fire, but that's how a DA trigger is.  no problem
4.  riding high on the grip - just practice shooting your revolver.  no problem
5.  manufacturing differences -  yes, there are manufacturer differences.  no problem.  again, practice.
6.  reloading more difficult - duh.... of course it is.  no problem.  practice
7.  less compatible with modern accessories - no shit.  again not a problem, that's just what a revolver is and what it does and does not do

all these examples are not problems.  they are just differences from a revolver to a semiauto.  he should have labeled his video more appropriately
I'm a revolver guy.  I like to collect them and shoot them.  but for CCW, I'm going to carry my Glock, or HK, or P365, or Hellcat bc they are more suited for CCW
but for just range shooting or hunting or woods carry or bear protection or for a bigger bang like a 357 44 460 500, I'm going with a revolver.  they each, semiauto and revolver, have their place in my rotation

Agree with you, bro.  In fact he mentioned a "problem" in reference to a semi-automatic.

They are two different guns and they should be treated and used as such.  A revolver is not a semi-auto and vice versa.

Maybe he was under pressure to put up another video and was running out of ideas.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

I own both revolvers and Semi's
My put is this.
What requires more training and practice in a panic situation?
Most guys here are pretty proficient with guns.
So it is academic to us.
I carried a semi and bought a revolver for my wife to carry.
My semi was as about as simple to use as can be.
Her revolver was even simpler.
It is the reloading, safeties., and yada yada, yada,
that makes your decision.
I don't own a Glock, but I've shot them and they are like shooting a cap gun, simple.
Perhaps that is why cops are so quick to shoot these days.
A SW model 686 slows you down a bit.
My preference is a Decocker semi.

I have a few of the decocker semi's.  HK45 and HK45C and HKP30L.  I really like those

I’ve seen #1. After about 200 rounds of dirty ammo, I’ve seen where the spent casings couldn’t eject and had trouble loading next set. That was on a class gun for an instructor who was at the range.

I’ve seen #2 quite a bit and short stroking. I think of something different for revolver timing.

#4 is something demo’ed often in basic pistol and one shooter early on was gripping with the S/A thumbs forward. Yeah, try that with .357 Mag or .44 Mag.

I’ve watched a few of his videos, but don’t follow him. He shoots a lot, including newer/ish pistols.
