Too much work for me. I like the Tonkatsu bowl ramen. I just add 1 hard boiled egg, green onion and baby bok choy.  On the other hand, I may try one of his hacks when I feel more energetic.

   I get noodles from Chun Wah Kam Noodle Factory in Kalihi.
I like the thinner "Hong Kong" style for making Saimen and Fried Noodles.

   Jack them up with using the little green S & S MSG free broth packet, Bonito Hondashi, diced dried Hotateigi, Tamagoyaki, SPAM, shrimp, pak choi and green onions from the garden.
If I'm lucky, I'll have Wakama kombu dashi left over from making Kabocha squash soup.

I like to get the fresh noodles at Chun Wah Kam in Kalihi.
They have several types but I prefer the "Hong Kong" noodles as they are thinner.  ;)
