First video was (IIRC) modifications (more aesthetics), OEM mags, and testing carry ammo. I generally don't do modifications like back plates or ejection port cover but know many people who do.  I primarily use OEM mags for most of my pistols, but as long as the aftermarket ones function fine, I think ok.  For the testing of carry ammo, testing function and POA/POI should be common.

No idea what the utubes stuff was about, I found some time ago it was mostly some numb-nuts droning making a video just long enough to earn money.
Millennials eat it up it and spend money seems.

Your mention of ejection ports made me chuckle in remembrance of that Arizona cop that could not resist wasting the guy lying face down on the hallway.
Seems he had one of those custom covers that said (from memory) "you are fµcked'

Seems a decent prosecutor would have correctly nailed him as a loose cannon looking to waste a civilan.
But, being a polices, no harm, no foul for telegraphing his eagerness to kill someone.

Firearm mods may or may not matter depending on your status in the eyes of the all powerful state.

Yup, mag dumped 50rds Gold dot  in Vegas in Mrs. CMO's P365XL. That hurt.  At least that range lets me bring my own ammo. Range fee was only $15.

You and your mag dumps. . .  ;D

I don't have a LOT of SD ammo, but I have bought in "batches" over time and that really helps.

Ahh, "Buy an M&P".  I did notice that the YTber shills for Sightmark.  I don't have personal experience with that brand, but I've read mixed reviews.  I did notice that the YTber does a lot of shooting and testing with a lot of "budget friendly" pistols.  All good, but haven't heard of many of those, let alone seen them in stores.

I only own one M&P and it's a .45 acp.  I have been interested in the M&P line, especially the newer metal frame ones.

My M&P passed the HI CCW qual with a 100%.  But so did the VP9. So same, same.
