It's been over 2 weeks (16 days) since the first few people submitted the new required docs to HPD.  Logan made a statement and said it should take about 2 weeks, and 30 days would be uncommon.  I'll go with 30+ days.  And it's not like they got all 600 CCW apps to reprocess. The first updated submissions were like 7 apps.  And if 1 can get a PTA in 2 weeks, why can't they get a CCW?  If they're so dangerous that they cannot do a background check for CCW in 2 weeks, then 1 should not be able to get a PTA as well. The chief is stalling on purpose.

The Chief has to stay in line.  Otherwise his "bosses" going get mad.

"Although we have to comply with the SCOTUS ruling and 'may issue' has now become 'shall issue', we would like to reiterate that the 'shall issue' part SHALL be at 'OUR DISCRETION'"

We are getting a new police chief here on the BI. He talks like a follow the law exactly sort of guy.
all the crap they put you through to get a CCW now are not written law just made
up by police regulation crap.
As I said in my testimony,  the state licenses me to carry loaded guns in public and kill things.
That is called a hunting license.  If my hunting license class was good enough for that function,
Can any rational person tell what the difference is from a CCW license?

You forgot one, "Jack ass".  I own own one.  His name is Buddy.
Good guard for the property and very smart animal.
Buddy is very efficient at killing strange animals, especially dogs that don't belong here.
Might be interesting if the county hired a Jack ass.
My call is it will stay with the status Quo,  which is all shit.

Same here, I'm not using the crap system left by the old police chief.
But, I'm going to write a letter requesting a permit like I have done for years.
That keeps things documented.
