I'll allow it.

I checked it out a while ago and stopped because it never seemed to have any activity. Personally, I prefer the forums format for sales because you can have a public or a private conversation with the seller/buyer.

I also used to peruse the site and it seems that very few people use that site.

Every time someone offers a low price for someone else's firearm, the whining begins.
Also every time some schmo posts his firearm for 900% of retail, and anyone comments about it, the whining continues.

I'm not sure auction style would work here.

 Armslist has too many out of state sellers that list their items in Hawaii.  I have talked to a few and they seemed kind of shady.  I prefer face to face or local transactions.  While the internet is nice and easy to use, it is also very easy to get ripped off.
It is what it is.

I just bought a bunch of parts from a classic arms parts dealer hope it's legit.  I did speak to the owner on the phone and he seemed cool.  Company is Classic Firearms and parts only ones in the US with the vintage 1930s Winchester parts instock
