Last year, there were some cities PD that didn't respond to anything unless someone was being killed or raped. So thefts, assaults, etc...

Pretty complex problem, but it breaks down to this, we ask our police to do too much crap work
and what little work they can do is vilified by Democrats, because it is mostly "their people" that
are the problem.
Democrats have taken away peoples abilities to protect themselves
and convinced people they are not responsible for their personal protection and the protection of their property.
I know I seem to be picking on Democrats but can you name one Democrat law that increases your
personal legal freedoms? ???

Part of the problem is society doesn't allow Cops to apply their own discretion to most cases -- mostly based on the "a few bad apples" premise.  They are second-guessed and scrutinized via dash and body camera footage, not to mention private cellphone videos that often make it to the Internet before the people arrested even get a hearing.

I don't think there's a single job I'd want where i'm always being recorded -- except maybe a casino supervisor.

Nowadays, Cops are just there to write tickets, arrest suspects, and let the detectives, DAs lawyers and courts sort it out.

If you're calling 911 for protection, you're already the victim.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

And while they pick and choose, law-abiding citizens get victimized.

If they want to pick and choose, fine.  At least give the law abiding citizens a chance to protect themselves with constitutional carry.

That's the least f**kn thing they can do.

In some cities I wouldn't be surprised they're called body disposal specialists instead of law officers.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.
