Anyone have any suggestions for budget scope rings?

I am looking for some scope rings for a .223 bolt-action rifle. Do any of you have any suggestions (preferably cheap)?

Not a brand, but a design style.  Make sure you get rings that have screws on both sides of the scope.  Some styles have a "hinge" on one side and only tighten on the opposite side.  The problem with those is that, as you tighten, the scope rotates.

I got rings for my .30-06 at Kaneohe Gun Shop for about $20.  I don't remember the brand name, but the upper band for each ring was actually 2 bands.  So, instead of having 2 strips of wide ring over my scope, I actually have 2 pairs of narrow ring.  So far, no issues with slippage after many rounds of M2 ball.

They look like this, but I think mine are steel.

You can also wait for the next gun show.  I've picked up several sets of rings for around $5 each there.  Heck, come to think of it, I probably have 3 or 4 sets taking up space in a drawer somewhere.
The difference between theory and reality is that, in theory, there is no difference between theory and reality.

Accushot rings are alright, and if I'm remembering correctly they weren't that expensive either (around $20).
