The State of the Economy Under Biden

According to Biden, the economy is doing fine.

Funny how I don't remember THIS happening under Trump's economic policies ...

Eggs are now so expensive Americans are
smuggling them in from MEXICO – with
border agents reporting a 300% jump in
the number seized since prices soared

Who are you going to trust -- a senile old man who can't seem to follow a teleprompter, or your own lying eyes?

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Is the cup half full or half empty? How many devils can land on the head of a pin? Why are there no posts about George Santos on this sub-forum, yet (at least according to the search engine)?

Enquiring minds do want to know. We need more candidates like dishonest George. We once had a president (GW) who could not tell a lie. Now we have a congressman who can tell nothing but lies.  One of youse guys should run for congress or the senate and tell hundreds of lies a day, and lots of jokes, too. I'll be glad to support such a candidate. When Tucker made a humorous speech about Santos, he made it look like he was ashamed of Santos. Far from it, he reveled in the existence of such an outrageous politician. Keep the masses distracted, and they will completely lose sight of what is important. Entertainment is the opium of the people.

Joe Biden is a confirmed plagiarist and liar.  He now holds the highest office in the nation.

You act like politicians lying is something new and disqualifying.

Flashback: Joe Biden's first presidential run in 1988
cratered amid multiple instances of plagiarism

It's fine to scrutinize Santos, but the Left is using him as a "What about?" to minimize Biden's continuous false and misleading public statements.

Look at all the lies Schiff told about Trump, Hunter, Ukraine and Russia, and he's still there.

The world's oldest profession is not prostitution, but being a politician. It's when society decided to pay its leaders, or they decided that even if they weren't paid, they'd get their money by ripping off the population. Thus, both Biden and Trump are con artists and liars. The big issue is how few people recognize the truth in this statement, as opposed to adamantly defending just one side against the accusation. In our lifetime, we may never see a leader put the people ahead of his/her own ambitions or biases.

I've seen it.  His name was Ronald Reagan.

And yes, in my lifetime, I probably will never see the likes of him again.

The reason is simple: Identity over merit. It is a self-inflicted wound.

You'd be hard-pressed to convince the informed voters that Trump only ran for the office based purely on his own ambitions or biases.

Look at his interviews (Oprah and others) when he was asked if he'd run back in the 90s.  I won't spoil the ending by spoon-feeding the answer.

Look at all he and his family have done for the nation vs. the hit they took financially.  Yes, they can use their increased public image to try and compensate, but as divided as the nation is politically, and with TDS infecting the media, I don't see that as a bonus.

As for lies, I think Trump kept many more campaign promises than every President since Reagan.  Those are the things that really matter, not the number of people attending an inauguration.

"The world's oldest profession is not prostitution, but being a politician."

   Disagree.
Prostitutes were first.
Politicians came about because they saw how prostitutes could get paid for "loosening their morals".
Politicians are prostitutes but a prostitute is not necessarily a politician.

I'd rather give my money to the prostitute.
At least I'd get the satisfaction of receiving what I paid for.
