Thank you so very much for starting this thread.  My family and I are very busy, and really benefit from being able to just log on here and get your CCW Legal updates.  Thank you.  We submitted our testimony and have also urged other gun owners to do so.  You be surprised how many gun owners there are, who just aren't as politically active and they, admittently want to be.  .

If only it was that simple ....

Done.

New testimony after testifying on the last hearing.

This time with stronger, harsher words.

Hopefully with the same people testifying again they will realize we are serious.

And that we are watching.

Maybe this is why things are the way they are today.  Silence is interpreted as agreement in the political world.

This past hearing, my wife was in the zoom video conference queue, waiting to testify (along with others) against this bill, and they said no one was in line wanting to testify.  Any of you experience the same thing?

And by the way, if you just absolutely cannot take off work to testify in-person, I hope you at least make every effort to login and testify remotely.

Make sure when your wife submits written, she checks the circle written & zoom.  I would not rely soley on zoom becuase it all depends on whos running it.  There are multiple bills during the same hearing.

Or what she can also try is before the hearing starts as she's in the zoom, post a comment that she would like to testify for the bill. Hope the IT person gets the message.

I may have submitted twice for this one. Can't remember, but if so it didn't stop me.
Stop blaming lazy people. We didn’t do anything.

Anyone have a link to follow the status of this bill?  How many Yae's/Nae's are needed for it to fail?

Then why didn't he vote nay? People like that are fence sitters hoping to keep two sides happy to get reelected again.

no
as usual, "politics" are involved
and appearances

it's a signal to the others that they intend to vote no later, so you have to negotiate with me if you want to change my mind
but you have to stay within the "party line" so you don't vote no at the time

it's weird, but all part of the "game"

Then why didn't he vote nay? People like that are fence sitters hoping to keep two sides happy to get reelected again.
