Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., told Fox News host Jesse Waters on Monday that she reported actress Jane Fonda's comments on ABC's "The View" to Capitol Police and said her office received a death threat following the video.

"It doesn’t surprise me but, unfortunately for Ms. Fonda, Capitol Police takes this issue very seriously as do I and many other of my pro-life Republican colleagues and so I’m sure they will be investigating and she will be having to answer for her comments. Obviously we take this as unacceptable from ‘The View,'" Luna said.

I give her credit because during NAM, she actually visited the North to protest.  She had the "balls" to do so.  Compared to other virtue signaling activist/celebrities.

There's a photo of her looking through the sights of an anti-aircraft gun while a North Vietnamese soldier looks on in glee.

She has the right to protest the War for whatever her reasons.

But that photo is so inappropriate.  As an activist she should have known better.  All she did was make Patriotic American's blood boil and make them hate her to this very day.

Oh yeah, what fun, pretending to kill Americans.

One of many that may show up in someone's sights if they get their civil war started.

It's one thing to protest your own country's national security policies & military actions.

It's a totally different thing to become a propaganda mouthpiece for the enemy.

Militaries need motivation to fight, and positive morale caused by her photo ops probably gave enemy soldiers motivation to continue fighting.

She knows the damage she caused.  She's apologized publicly several times.  Still, it's just another example of Hollywood celebrities thinking their opinions ought to be taken as Gospel.  She should have been told to stay in her lane -- or at least out of Vietnam.

Quote
This isn’t the first time Jane Fonda has apologized for the infamous 1972 photos
that earned her the nickname “Hanoi Jane.” But it seems her apologies have fallen
on deaf ears. Her latest mea culpa, in which she calls the photo “a huge, huge
mistake,” comes in response to an incident in Maryland on Friday where 50 veterans,
protesting her appearance at the Weinberg Center for the Arts, carried signs that read
“Forgive? Maybe. Forget? Never.”

That’s right, 43 years later, protests still follow Fonda wherever she goes. There are,
in fact, several Facebook groups dedicated to targeting Fonda at every public event.
This past Friday, Fonda said she understood the anger and has tried several times
to make amends:

Bullshit, the traitor was suffering some loss of income from liberal interviews.

She married Ted Turner in 1991 and divorced in 2001.

Turner, who owns nearly two-million acres and is considered one of America's
largest individual landowners, provided Fonda with a 2,500-acre ranch as well
as around $100 million in assets and stock in his broadcasting corporation.
Fonda also sold her opal engagement ring for nearly $20,000. This adds to
Fonda's already massive fortune which includes Best Actress Oscars for "Klute"
and "Coming Home" as well as a multi-million dollar fitness empire that boasts
her bestselling workout book and over two dozen popular exercise videos.
Altogether her current net worth totals $200 million dollars.

She retired from acting in 1991 following her wedding to Ted Turner and came out of retirement in 2005.

She's 85 now, and her net worth is still estimated to be over $200M.

She's not been hurting for money for a very long time -- and likely never will be.  Just saying.

True.  But she just starred in a major movie, 80 for Brady.  Also with Sally Field, Lily Tomlin and Rita Moreno.

I doubt I'll ever watch it, but not for the political opinions of the actors.  I just don't like comedy-dramas in general.

Of course, being politically averse to the Super Bowl factors in as well.
