giving a piece of legislation a nice name is a common tactic to gain support from people who have no interest in that legislation

I haven't really been clear whether they are trying to ban the website as well or just the app. The app seemed to be where there is most cause for concern so it seems like they were talking about banning the app, which would mean Tik Tok wouldn't be completely banned.

Banning a platform gives me pause for concern but I can see some good arguments for banning the application
