Sign stating that Permit processing office is a “no gun zone” is gone. (Read 1101 times)

Went to register a rifle today then immediately went to submit PTA paperwork for a new gun.  Walked right in (stood in line actually, LOL) to submit paperwork carrying my cased rifle and processed my paperwork with no refusal of entry and no questions.  I’ve been told in the past that I could not bring a cased firearm into that office. Glad I could do it all in one trip because I won’t risk leaving guns in my locked car in a parking lot and I live far away.

They've had that sign for a while now.  Usually, they enforce it.  But maybe they cannot assume you have a rifle inside a rifle case due to certain events.  They can ask you, but cannot force you to open it.

My friend went a few days after the gun show and the no guns allowed sign was removed. He has his CCW, so he was issued his PTA on the spot.
