Since the long gun permit is good for a year, and
since you need a handgun permit for every purchase, and
since the CCW license bypasses the 2-week wait for handgun permits,
it makes sense that the license also bypasses the 2-week wait for long gun permits.

I filled out all my paperwork at home, minus whatever they needed me to fill out in the PTA office. I was even given an additional forms to take home for the future PTA requests.
