Gee, this rhetoric reminds me of another forum member that only posts here in the political forum.

She and her cult claim to champion democracy.  A democracy can't exist if everyone in power only enact the policies of one party/group.  A democracy allows everyone who must live with the policies and laws to have a say in whether or not those policies get implemented.  We don't need a government controlled by one party.  Things seem to work better when the Executive is from one party, and Congress (both houses) are controlled by the other (assuming we remain basically a 2-party system).  Pelosi is only interested in power -- for herself and her fellow party members. 

Voters seem to get this -- even if it's not consciously.  Midterm elections tend to favor the party in which the president is not a member, especially if the Congress is controlled by the president's party, too.  Single-party rule flies in the face of the concept "balance of power."

Pelosi can't help it.  She's been one sniper attack away from the presidency for many years.  She's made millions from her role in Congress and as House Speaker.  Her career started in 1976 when she was elected as a Democratic National Committee member from California, a position she would hold until 1996.  That's 47 years.  Being that she is now 83, that's over half her life and almost half a century in politics.  Political power is all she understands.

it's easy to present facts and data to show someone they are wrong, but you have to break down their beliefs at the same time.   That's always a harder nut to crack than just winning a debate.

Tim Pool had this super-left-leaning liberal on his show around 4 months ago IIRC.  Tim made a point by mentioning a fact that the other guy said, "That never happened!"  Then Tim showed him the articles, and his guest was shocked at how he'd never seen that before.  it was a major story, but this political "expert" never had a clue.

The other side is controlling their followers with all this social media censorship and narrative spinning.
