I have a 54 caliber Hawkins.

He brings up a good point.  Wouldn't hurt to buy some ammo if you can.  Pretty good prices out there.  At least you'll have some ammo to go to the range with once the military starts hoarding all the resources that make ammo.

I am the polar opposite of you. I like to know how much ammo I have, give or take couple hundred rounds.

I know I have at least 12,500 rounds of 22LR, 4600 rounds of 9MM and 1500 rounds of .223.
All my practice is with air guns.  If I am going to burn powder, it has to be to kill something.
I know I have enough to take me through the Zombie Apocalypse.

Mac doesn't own any ammo and those things that fling 'um!

Through your own standard, you don't have enough ammo...

22 LR in my opinion is the one that, if you can, buy as much as you possibly can.  That caliber was the hardest to get when there was an ammo shortage.
