More Government Incompetence In Hawaii

Maui defense attorney was able to access private information on the Governor and others through a state judiciary website -- information such as social security number, etc.

The attorney tried to alert the state, but nobody took his reports seriously.  In fact, the government claims they never received any such notifications.  It was only after he reported getting access to the Governor's information that the state decided to investigate.

So, now the attorney has had his subscription fee refunded, his account has been suspended, and he is not allowed to access the subscription services at all until the investigation is compete.

This is a carbon copy of the events in another state where the governor there tried to prosecute the reporter who found the vulnerability and reported it.

The emperor hates having his nakedness pointed out.  And remember: no good deed goes unpunished.

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
