This issue with FRTs is being fought using the same arguments as pistol braces.  The ATF classifies an accessory as a machine gun in order to confiscate them or criminalize the owners, and they aren't supposed to have the power.  This is a Biden effort that he learned from Obama.  And we see how that's working out.  Looks like the momentum in court over the pistol brace laws is with the owners, not the ATF.

Not once in the video did anyone mention a warrant.  If I was the subject of the visit, and they told me they are there to collect my property, I would ask if they have a warrant.  If not, then any searches or seizures would be in violation of the Constitution and my civil rights.  "Get a warrant and come back."

He spent a long time stating the reasons he's not answering questions or assisting them in their effort to take his property, but that was unnecessary.  No warrant, no conversation.

Sure, he got a lot a good points in, but I doubt those comments will matter to anyone in the ATF.

How is a pistol brace a machine gun. Isn’t it an SBR ? (By their point of view)
I don’t think he was talking so the ATF would listen.
He made his points and filmed and posted it for the firearms community. (My guess)

I guarantee they coming back.

He prob will be audited by the IRS as well.

Pretty much guarantee.

Somewhat deceptive in that this guy sells
to government agencies so he wants to be "friendly".
For us small people, it is
simple
Am I being detained?
No
Am I free to go?
Yes.
Then walk away.
Cops  can lie to you and they will.
They have no morals.
They may show compassion sometimes,
but that is not their main job.

The more you talk, the more you can slip up and say something they can use to come back with a warrant. And the very end, she's making him aware that having the part is illegal.

Notice the entrapment of "if you sold it, just let us know". Now depending on the date, which they would also ask, he now admitted to selling a machine gun. And admitting to having possession of the trigger. Where all they have right now is the purchase and shipping. No evidence he possesses it.

Every question is designed to trick him.  The problem is ego gets in the way. He wants to show them that he's smarter than the low level agents that were sent. Now he pissed the AFT off and they gonna come back and look for something.

Officers/agents are allowed to lie when questioning someone whether or not the lie was intentional -- i.e. they might have been given a script of what to say with no real understanding of how true any of it is.

The two agents kept hitting the point that if he handed the parts over, he would not be in trouble.  I don't think i'd trust them on that one unless they produced a signed immunity agreement saying exactly that.  Otherwise, they might come back and "get him in trouble" regardless of those assurances.
