I don't think this woman watched Chris Rock's video.  If she did, she obviously didn't learn anything from it.

Obvious points she failed to follow:

-- Obey the Law (leaving the scene of an accident and driving on a suspended license could have been the end of if)
-- Use common sense
-- Be Polite
-- Shut the F**k up

I guess she didn't really have the option of not riding with a mad woman, huh?

I disagree she didn't make it worse for herself she demonstrated how passive law enforcement has become because of all this anti police sentiment. The police officer explained to her in a very polite manner several times why she would be arrested and she continued to berate the officer.

Yeah.  Three minutes into it, for some reason I had flashbacks of Rock's PSA.   

One of the funniest things was when she was at the police station and started fighting and saying "I can't go to jail."  All because the officer tried to ease her mind by saying they were going to print her and photograph her then let her leave with a misdemeanor citation. 

Instead, she wound up in jail with:

Felony charges for
   Aggravated battery and
   Obstructing justice;
PLUS
Misdemeanor charges for
   Leaving the scene of an accident,
   Driving on a suspended license, and
   Resisting

When you're already in a hole, it's best to stop digging. 

 

I hope she gets sentenced to some anger management treatment at the very least!
