People are not happy, but Chicago is approving a $51M funding to support illegal aliens (or in Democrat's terms "Asylum Seekers" and "Migrants").  The money is supposed to go for housing, food, and other essentials for the illegals transported there by the feds and border states.

The NIMBY rooster has come home to roost, and the city sees that they have to now put their money where their mouths are after declaring Chicago a "Sanctuary City."

I say it's about time.  If the people get angry enough, maybe they'll stop reelecting Democrats over and over.

Since this is Chicago, I predict at least 2/3 of that money will never benefit an illegal alien, but rather help fund a new department created to distribute the money.  Unions will have to be included as well.
