I'm a NRA life member. I only donate to NRA-ILA once a year for my Calendar.
I'm also a GOA member and a HIFICO(sp?) member.
Since I'm no longer a voter in the state of Hawaii I'm going to drop HIFICO
because they are too much "go along to get along". Fuk that.
I'll donate more to GOA as I'm now a WA state voter and may get
more bang for the buck there. It is where all my guns are anyway.
I'd invite Karl to go Elk hunting this year, but he'd probably decline.
You Hawaii guys are useless.
REFUSE to comply!

HIFICO membership is $25 a year. I suggest you keep this because even though you aren't here, what happens in 1 state can affect others, especially since WA is on the west coast and is part of the 9th circuit. Also any rulings that go to the 9th from HI will affect WA and what laws WA try to pass. I'm sure you still have 2a friends here as well.
Example: CA hasn't made a state sensitive places bill. Prob cause they know it will be challenged and would rally all the big gun orgs against them, and CA will lose. But their smaller counties have been passing them silently. Not LA county, but smaller ones. So HI passed a state sensitive places law, and it will be challenged. And either way, it will go to the 9th. Unless HI concedes like how they have been doing for every bill except 1 (Young v. Hawaii). The other states that passed it like NY and NJ are in a diff circuit, which has no impact on HI rulings. So HI would be the 1st to file.
So when it goes to the 9th, this would prevent WA from doing similar laws. Same goes with the Abbot mag lawsuit (Hawaii), if HI doesn't concede, then it will go to the 9th and can affect WA. IIRC, WA has a mag limit law now as well. Or maybe I'm thinking it was OR.
I mean if you lived outside the 9th circuit, then maybe no need pay HIFICO annual membership. But in the end, it's your $.
