These Republican's are so corrupt they trade bribes in public. They lined the pockets of the judge with a 3 million dollar bribe. Can't make this stuff up.

Group supporting impeached AG gives presiding officer $3 million ahead of trial
The director of Defend Texas Liberty PAC said the donation was to support Lt. Gov. Patrick’s work in the recent legislative session

Defend Texas Liberty PAC has urged Republican lawmakers to vote against removing impeached Attorney General Ken Paxton. Campaign records published Tuesday show the group also gave a $1 million donation and a $2 million loan to the presiding officer over the Paxton case in the Texas Senate -- Republican Lt. Governor Dan Patrick.

The Texas House voted overwhelmingly to impeach Paxton in late May. The donation came in almost a month later. In September, 30 members of the Texas Senate will vote on whether to remove Paxton from office and Patrick will serve in a capacity similar to a judge, deciding many procedural issues which may come up.

Why did you put "Conservatives" in the title, and then rag on Republicans in the post?

The two are not synonymous nor interchangeable.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
-- George Bernard Shaw
