Yep.  The only reasons for him to testify at this point are (1) he grew a conscience, and/or (2) there's enough on the Biden's and their business partners to get convictions, and/or the feds have something on archer that gives them leverage against him and was offered a deal to rat on the Bidens.

I doubt it was out of a change in his moral compass.  Therefore it's likely the same reason every other co-conspirator rats on his buddies -- immunity.

You can call it 'saving his own skin,' but that doesn't make anything he says less than credible.

It's difficult to prove a conspiracy UNLESS you have corroborating testimony from a co-conspirator.  It's up to  judge or jury to evaluate how credible that testimony is.  Hypothesizing about motives is a waste of time.

Republicans should stop playing to the press for campaign contributions and start impeachment proceedings if that is what they are going to do. Let's see what they have. I guarantee the mainstream media would cover the proceedings and the trial. Just like the U.S. Senate had the opportunity to create a bipartisan commission to investigate J6 but they chose to bury their heads in the sand. Thankfully Nancy Pelosi had the courage to take the lead.

Not necessarily. He isn't one of the Biden's so there is no guarantee they would protect him.
Plus if he thinks Biden isn't going to be in power after 2024 he has no one to protect him anymore.

Do you really think a member (or at least participant) in an organized crime family is going to come forward and testify out of a conviction for doing the right thing? It is just a coincidence that he comes forward at the same time the tide is turning against Hunter?

Note that I am not saying that he is a useless witness but additional skepticism is warranted. It would be helpful for a prosecutor and investigator to work extra hard to try and corroborate what he testified to.
