this is what you got

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-admin-withholding-key-funding-schools-hunting-archery-programs

The Biden administration is blocking key federal funding earmarked under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965 for schools with hunting and archery programs.

According to federal guidance circulated among hunting education groups and shared with Fox News Digital, the Department of Education determined that, under the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) passed last year, school hunting and archery classes are precluded from receiving federal funding. The interpretation could impact millions of American children enrolled in such programs.

I'll take all this over a trump presidency.  If Trump was president it would be even worse.   Biden is the lessor evil.

People have no memory and are dumb. Trump has been a celebrity since the 80s. Everyone knew he was wealthy and had no problem taking money from him, patronizing his golf courses, casinos and even being a contestant on his reality show that ran for 11 years https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Apprentice_(American_TV_series)

It was only when he became President that he was a: phobe of some sort, a racist, a womanizer, etc. etc.

Are we that dumb? Yes we are! You're fired!

That's the problem with the current system though. Stupid people who constantly screw up continue to get promoted as long as they stay in lockstep with the party.

We need a guy who actually fires people!

Stop blaming lazy people. We didn’t do anything.

This show was bullsh$t.
14th amendment guarantees all US debts get paid first , before housing, welfare, government operations et al.
They could sell off the vast lands that they unconstitutionally hold.

Secondly the vast majority of  US debt is held by Americans.  There could be no foreign held debt and we would be OK.
All foreign held debt could be dumped tomorrow and some smart Americans would do very well, because the population
doesn't understand how treasuries work.  It would not cost us a cent.

What part of the Constitution prohibits the federal government from holding real estate?

What part of the Constitution prohibits the federal government from holding real estate?

For one, any real estate that was seized under civil asset forfeiture where the owners were never charged and convicted of a crime that included the value of that land as a reasonable fine.

Civil asset forfeiture is legalized theft, where Cops take your property and force you to sue to have it returned.  Often the cost to fight it in court is not worth the effort and still risk not getting everything you sued for.

That happens at all levels of the justice system -- federal, state and local.

The part of the Constitution that prohibits this practice is the 4th amendment barring the government from unreasonable searches and seizures as well as the requirement for due process under the 14th.  How can they fine you for something they never charged you with or took you to court over?

They take it, and then they keep it if you don't pay to get it back.

Sometimes they even offer to give you back part of your property to settle the case.  No admission on your part of guilt, and no justification for keeping it.  They just know you will spend that amount fighting the seizure.  It's the definition of extortion.

One case the local cops gave the property of someone to the feds -- a process where the feds get to keep most of it and the locals receive a portion later.  When ordered by the court to return it, the locals said, "But we don't have it any longer."  As if that's an actual argument against complying with the court order!

Totally unconstitutional, but lawmakers don't care, and the majority of the public will never imagine themselves in such a situation.  They rationalize that the seizures are "ill gotten gains" and the crooks deserve to have it taken.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

What part of the Constitution prohibits the federal government from holding real estate?
You can read it as well as I can.
I'll paraphrase for all that don;t like to read.
The only land the Federal government can own is for military or of specific government use.
Property Clause (Art. IV, Sec. 3, Cl. 2), land titled to the federal government and held outside state boundaries is “Territory.” Federal land held within state boundaries is “other Property.”
But within state boundaries the Constitution grants no authority to retain acreage for unenumerated purposes, such as land for grazing, mineral development, agriculture, forests, or parks.

* Once a state is created and is thereby no longer a territory, the federal government has a duty to dispose of tracts not used for enumerated purposes.
