Been thinking about going back to the range. What is the chance of getting a rifle bench walking in? I check the reservation system but everything is always “sold out”

I’ve been there several times since the reservation system started. Between noon and closing I’ve always seen open benches. I’ve done walk in’s on both pistol and rifle ranges and haven’t been denied.

I have always had a resevation when going to the range. I go with a friend or two and take extra target stands. The last couple of times I went and asked the RO if there are open benches, the answer was "always".

You need to get on Monday 8am for Saturday and Tuesday 8am for Sunday. They fill up that very day

The range almost always has open benches…Sunday morning 8am, pistol may be full.  I always see open benches on the rifle side

They should make the reservation system like the public golf courses. Too many no shows and you are banned from making a reservation for like six months.

The reservation system is pretty irrelevant at Koko head.  Might still be applicable for the first couple relays where they have priority.  But for the rest of the day just show up and shoot.
