The 15-minute city (FMC or 15mC) is an urban planning concept in which most daily necessities and services, such as work, shopping, education, healthcare, and leisure can be easily reached by a 15-minute walk or bike ride from any point in the city. This approach aims to reduce car dependency, promote healthy and sustainable living, and improve wellbeing and quality of life for city dwellers.

In other words, you have to live IN the city for everything to be within a 15 minute walk.

Isn’t Honolulu already like that? If you lived in public housing like Kuhio Park Terrace or Mayor Wright’s, shopping, schools and healthcare would all be within a 15 minute walk or bike ride.

This 15 minute city must also include expanded sidewalks and gutters to accommodate the homeless for their tents and the piss and shit that will accumulate in the gutters.  This way you don't need to sidestep the steaming piles of crap.

Model the city after San Francisco.  Nancy Pelosi will be glad to consult.

I actually have 8 acres of isolated land where we used to shoot mongeeses. :rofl:
It's just overgrown now and located on the wrong island. :rofl:
My grandfather taught us kids about the finer points of shooting mongeeses.

I just filled up the Black Soldier Fly bins and now they are almost empty. Free chicken food!

15 minute cities would probably demand a monopoly on everything with an exoskeleton

This sounds like a dystopian Sci fi movie. Everybody wears a white uniform and eats the same bowl of porridge and goes to sleep in a cocoon next door to your job function cubicle.
