Where are your stats and supporting reports to back up that claim?

NY, MA and IL are all having the same revelation:  that the number of illegals coming here can not be sustained.  Is that a coincidence?  Or is bussing the illegals to those cities actually the cause?

It took bussing the illegals directly to major "sanctuary cities" for them to feel the impact and wake up to the reality of open borders.  Before, the open borders policies were someone else's problem to deal with as long as the Libs could virtue signal and not have to deal with the consequences.

In 2008, the illegal alien population of NYC was estimated at 618K.  A decade later, the population in 2018 was estimated at 560K. That represents fewer illegals before the pandemic, proving that illegals are not "moving to NYC for other reasons."  If that were true, the population would have continued to increase.

Your opinion doesn't match the facts.

NYC has seen an influx of 90,000 migrants
and asylum-seekers since last spring

So are you saying that the influx or 90,000 immigrants come from Florida and Texas bussing? That argument doesn't match the facts.

Texas bussed about 9,000 immigrants to DC and NY so less than 10% of that 90,000%

Your information is over a year old.

From June 2023:

Quote from: Office of the Texas Governor
Texas has bused more than 10,000 migrants to our nation's capital since April 2022, over 8,200 migrants to New York City since August 2022, more than 2,600 migrants to Chicago since August 2022, more than 1,600 migrants to Philadelphia since November 2022, over 210 migrants to Denver since May 2023, and over 40 migrants to Los Angeles since June 14.

https://gov.texas.gov/news/post/operation-lone-star-sends-over-500-migrant-buses-to-sanctuary-cities#:~:text=Texas%20has%20bused%20more%20than,May%202023%2C%20and%20over%2040

I’ll grant you that 90,000 is “more than 10,000,” but I would think they’d quote a higher number if it was anywhere near 90K…

And that was just Texas.

In recent months, an estimated 110,000 migrants (aka illegal aliens) have arrived in NYC.  About 10% were bussed there from Texas, so that's 11,000 -- just in "recent months."

But, the big problem in NYC is not just the raw numbers, but their own "we love migrants" policies and laws.

A lawsuit determined that NY's constitution requires the city to provide shelter and a job for any migrant that comes there.  It used to be a trickling in, with people arriving and being sponsored by employers, family, friends and community members.  Now, people who have no ties with anyone and no plan expect to be housed after just 3 days in country.  And NYC is required to do it by law.

So all those crowds of people pouring over the border after Uncle Joe took office?  Joe made a goal of 125,000 "refugees" allowed in PER YEAR.  He's just under that number now, but refugee admissions are up 38.5% and we're getting about 2,556 per month on average.

How many of those would have been moved elsewhere or become a burden for border towns instead of being bussed to Dem-run cities?

The level of migration into the country is unsustainable.  If Biden would implement limts and enforce them, maybe it would be more manageable.  But, that's not the agenda.

The whole immigration may spell defeat for democrats in this next election. The bussing brought it a lot more attention but it sounds like it was going to happen with or without the bussing.

Problem is that congress (generally speaking) never seems to want to actually address the immigration problem

No it won't. Their voters are morons and would vote for a tard with a D next to their name over Trump, if it boiled down to only those 2. IDK if someone who's legally a tard can even run for president, but for arguments sake, lets say they are allowed to run.

The dems elected a white, senile fossil to the WH after decades of bitching and moaning about "old white men" running the country.

Then they elected a brain damaged governor who couldn't put a sentence together with teleprompter assistance.

I don't think there's anyone they wouldn't put in office given the right kind of coverage by the media.

The only good reason you open the floodgates to mass migration is to drive down wages.

Sooner or later Labor is going to wake up and realize that their leaders have betrayed them.
Later will be too late as the illegal immigrants will be doing the monkey assembly line work for half the wage.  :'(

These illegals are political pawns of congress.  Both sides of the aisle are responsible for what is happening today.

Open borders do not work.  But the political right in congress is holding out so they can tell the left "See we told you, now suffer......."

The scariest part of all of this is when New York was sued and must now grant each illegal that enters the city subsistence.  Social Media went afire as all the migrants were notified that New York must grant them housing, work, and subsistence.  The floodgates did not break down.  The influx was so huge it was like there was no floodgates to begin with.

And now we have a problem that is impossible to fix.

My opinion of course.

It's a fact -- not just an opinion.

They thought they could make policy based on their at-that-time cost of being a sanctuary city -- but then they got sued.  Now they are on the hook they set for themselves.

I have zero sympathy.  They made stupid decisions based on an unmanageable promise in the first place and which is now uncontrollable.

Thats one reason why we need someone other than Trump to be the GOP candidate.

I wouldn't consider other candidates lesser, did you mean not as popular?

Trump polls decently against Biden, he has a chance at beating Biden. He doesn't poll as well against other democrat candidates so if Biden steps out Trump could lose a lot of his steam and loose the general. In fact I wonder if that is the democrat plan, run Biden to Trump wins the primary and then have him step down and put in a different candidate who could beat Trump. Some of the other republicans would also stand to beat Biden and democrats know this so it is in their interest to have Trump get the nomination there as well. I think part of Trump's popularity rests in giving the finger to Biden. Remove Biden from the picture and some of Trump's campaign issues fizzle, like claims of DJO corruption under Biden.

The governor of new york is saying they are at capacity for the illegals and is saying to go elsewhere.

Meanwhile the news just reported that the Border Patrol discovered three migrants that has tuberculosis.

Who knows how many infected migrants got through that weren't detected.

Whoo Hooo, biden administration.  Way to go.

I still remember footage of biden when he first took office in 2020.  Shows him at his desk signing off on a whirlwind elimination of all the policies implemented by the previous  administration. A lot of them were Border Policies.  Meanwhile all his assistants and supporters are smiling and nodding in approval.

I just smiled and laughed to myself.  Shook my head.  And realized crazy times are headed our way.

Little did I know that it got worse than I ever imagined.

The focus is on south american illegals. What the fake news down plays is the chinese, eastern european, middle easterns also coming in great numbers.
