Who do you consider the "major" gun groups?

Opps.  You said, "gun control!"  My bad!

I know, hard to believe.

None of the major gun control groups have talked about NM.  Like it didn't happen.  LOL

Let me try that again:

"During a press conference announcing the declaration, a reporter asked Grisham whether she believes that criminals, who have been responsible for the shootings that led to the ban, would follow her order.

“No,” Grisham replied flatly."

gee what a surprise.

In a nutshell, we are seeing the head of the executive branch of the state make the argument that the Constitutions of the state and US governments are getting in her way.  She therefore feels justified in violating those laws by fabricating a health emergency -- something that even if true is not a legal exception to civil rights.

This woman's statements are reminiscent of the many other Liberals i've heard for years call for the repeal of the Second Amendment for no other reason than it obstructs their anti-gun efforts -- exactly as it was intended to do.

This governor is not a lone wolf gun hater.  She only made the mistake of going full retard with regard to how obvious her violation of the 2A was.

Those are just a formality.

Meaningless where an agenda is the priority.

The order was so outrageous, I would be watching out for some other less outrageous legislation trying to sneak in under the radar.
Think about diversion tactics or haggling over the price of a used car.

When we demonstrated a new software project, we always chose unattractive or hard-to-read colors in a few key locations.

That way the customer/project manager would be able to find something easy to fix and be less likely to keep looking for something more difficult for us to change.

Typical misdirection.  Every magician and politician leans it.

So the NM AG stated they won't defend the lawsuit. But the gov can hire outside lawyers, like how HI is doing for senstive places. But the diff is the HI ones are pro bono.

Burning question:

If the NM Attorney General has come out against this illegal ban, does that mean the Governor made this decision of hers without consulting the chief legal officer for the state?

Kind of sounds like it, huh?

I wonder if the NM AG also lies to the lawmakers like how HI's one does.

The alternative to not asking the AG beforehand would be that she asked and was given an answer she decided to ignore.

If that's the case, then she knowingly and intentionally violated the constitutions of her state and the USA, making this a crime.

Hope the governor learns and is legally held responsible for her actions.

I assume she knows how to read, so she knowingly and intentionally violated it regardless.

You can file a civil suit for being deprived of your rights.

I don't have $50,000 to spend on a lawyer.  Or are you saying that only rich people are allowed to fight for their deprived right?
