Violating the oath of office is a crime.

She should be impeached and thrown in jail.

And then I woke up from my sleep. :(

You can bet Green and his admin are looking at NM's gov's actions as their blueprint. Keep an eye on our State's periodic "emergency proclamations". All those CCW permits might be worth as much as toilet paper.

Yep.  I'll be watching Governor Greed and also Mayor Bull-giardi.  I'll be watching all of them.  They all from the same mold.

We need to remember that this did not happen in a vacuum.

Breaking:  Fed judge just reversed suspension of right to carry by Governor of NM.   AP.

In 1775 the British demanded we surrender our weapons.....WE SHOT THEM.

This was an embarrassment for gun control and set them back as a whole.  The TRO issued by an Obama judge in a fairly blue state was overwhelming as it was done very quickly without notice from the defendant, basically the  Governor wasn't asked for their side of the story because it was so blatantly unconstitutional.

I'm sure Gov Green is taking notice of it and wouldn't doubt he's thought about doing it himself.  If Green did do the same here, he'd have the strong support of the AG and Honolulu Mayor.  I doubt the police chiefs would enforce it.  Not sure about the sheriffs.

Burning question:

If the NM Attorney General has come out against this illegal ban, does that mean the Governor made this decision of hers without consulting the chief legal officer for the state?

Kind of sounds like it, huh?

I'm sure the AG was consulted, AG is anti-gun there.  Governor just didn't like the answer.

MDA might just have to revoke his participation award certificate since he didn't toe the party line.

Sheriff being appointed, not elected, I suspect they would do as they were told.

If our governor and mayor tried this crap here, I am sure the sheriffs and police chiefs would support and enforce it.

Garan Ball Barans.

But maybe these new current events will make them go hide back in their holes and wait for instructions as to how to proceed.......

I wonder how many of them think they and their cops will survive that enforcement?
Cops don't live on a military base with full time security.  They live in the community.
we know where they live, shop, and kids go to school.
Not a good idea to make enemy's of the neighbors that vastly outnumber you, are awake 24/7, and
are insulted by your actions.

Majority of gun owners are law abiding citizens and will only use the court system.  Which is rigged against them from the start.  The cops and other agencies know this.  They love easy arrest.

Then when you get put into the car, the cops will try to make small talk to make you understand that they're just doing their job.  They do this with real criminals already, so I assume they will do this to law abiding citizens who are arrested for unconstitutional reasons as well.

You think too much like somebody that lives in a city.
When you live where YOU are responsible for your personal safety,
your attitude changes.
I obey the law, but I will ignore it when it is a threat to God, family, and country.

NRA-ILA (ILA is their lawsuit division) sued the NM governor.

i'm surprised.  Seems like they are throwing good money after a slam dunk case that others are already going to win.

As I said, unless they can get something other than a 2A-favorable ruling, why would the NRA bother?

Maybe they don't want to be the odd man out again, like when another group won a TRO for their members, the NRA suddenly asked to be included in the lawsuit.

At this point, I can't even imagine why the NRA/NRA-ILA does what they do other than to line their pockets.

Easy win since the TRO was already filed. This is why i wont give the NRA a dime, i spend it on hifico or other groups who do file lawsuits.

But there may be stuff going on that we dont know about, which delayed the NRAs lawsuit filing. But if we look at their track record, i doubt it.

Yeah.  Like being in the Bahamas all weekend on an NRA-funded board of director's get-away.
