Someone here voted for Biden?

Biden is not going to run and i'd put money on that. He is just saying he is going to run. I think he will wait till Trump is close to winning the nomination and then he will bow out and they will put some democrat, likely Gaving Newsom, in his place. Biden can't manage in his mental state, and he can't beat Trump either. But democrats know that if Trump gets the nomination they have a pretty good chance at beating Trump with a any other candidate so I think they want Trump to win the primary so that they can beat him in the general.

This is an interesting strategy.  The only thing I can't wrap my head around is that, even if biden either bows out or gets thrown out () and replaced by the democrats, I just cannot see how people would want the country to continue the way it is going.

Because the person that replaces biden will certainly continue the on-going agenda which in my opinion will continue to drive the nation down the toilet.

And it looks like even if Trump doesn't win the GOP nomination, the democrats would still try the strategy you described.

Either way I think biden will hobble off into the sunset, with "Dr." Jill holding his arm steady and son hunter holding on to biden's britches while sucking his thumb.

When it comes to campaign strategery, the number one objective should be picking a nominee that can win.  However, we all know it takes outspending in many swing states to wn, which pushes fundraising to the top of the priority list.

In order to raise money, the dems need Biden in the picture.  Anyone else, and donors might wonder about an alternate candidate.  i mean, how many incumbants decided not to seek a second term for President?  That's unheard of.  Even Carter ran again after his dismal term was ending.

Keeping Joe for now keeps the donors donating, especially if they can keep Trump in the picture as the one to beat.

If and when Joe backs out, it'll be when the war chest is big enough to beat Trump no matter who is their nominee.

Hillary spent twice what Trump spent, so the prize doesn't always go to the richest.  But what the party failed to see is how horrible a candidate she was.

Clinton was an anomaly in the spending-for-votes process.  Normally resources matter a great deal, both in getting the candidate's message out, and in attacking or defending against dirty ads by opponents.

Anyway, if he bows out, it'll be over a fake health crisis -- just to avoid the appearance of switching horses in the last leg of the race.  It would not surprise me if it happens after early voting begins.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

No matter the damage he and his party has done that has shown recently, most DNC supporters will still vote DNC.  Trump showed what someone not a career politician can do.  They are afraid of this and don't want it to repeat, so they rigged the election.  This is why I said "shown recently".  I still  talk to people who have TDS and will vote for Biden or anyone else with a D next to their name over Trump or any GOP person.  This is HI's problem.

The democrats will vote democrats, especially if Trump is the republican nominee. It would be hard for a democrat to point to Biden and claim good work lets continue so maybe they would distance themselves somehow, say they have new fresh ideas, something like that. Just put a new spin on it.

The democrats have to replace Biden because Biden loses to anyone who runs, even Trump is edging him out in the polls now. The problem for the GOP is that any other democrat has a decent chance at beating Trump. I really think it is in the nations best interest to have neither Biden nor Trump win their primaries.

The interesting thing are the curve balls. Kennedy running as an independent who will take votes from both sides. Manchin possibly running as an independent. I want to watch the debate between Newsom and Desantis, I think it is supposed to be tomorrow?

Newsome and Desantis would be interesting to watch.  Actually, I'm looking forward to the 2024 elections.  And also dreading it realizing what the outcome could be.

So you enjoy violating peoples right and knowing that others know this.  Thanks for playing.

BTW, still never posted a constitutional red flag law.

I'm surprised you don't love Trump as you both agree on red flag laws. He said "take the guns first, due process later", which you agree with by your postings about it.

The outcome will be what ever they want it to be.  They've learned that now they can do what ever they want and people will follow/agree/obey.

I haven't watched the debate yet but from the clips I heard DeSantis got some pretty good jabs on Newsome. Waiting to see if this bumped his poll numbers at all.

Very true, there have been a lot more liberals I have heard say they really don't want to vote Biden but would do so if it was between Biden and Trump.

Funny (irritating) how they never mention voting third party...
