Danny the Medic.  Very popular YouTuber and makes Food and Travel videos.  He also has a CCW license and conceal carries wherever he goes.

We watch his Vegas vids all the time.  We first watched his channel when he only had like 35 views per video.  Good to see him growing.

Being from NYC, IDK what their gun laws are, I though there was something about not being able to take the registered gun out of the city or something. IDK.

It was to get his NV CCW. I actually emailed him about it and he responded. I asked if he was moving to NV and he said no.  At the time, he was doing 90% Vegas videos and didn't explain his traveling medic job.

Too bad though cause NYC sucks.

He also has 1 shooting vid where a viewer took him out to the desert. IIRC danny shot a revolver. He looks like a revolver CCW kind of guy.

This is just a FYI about CCW and Open Carry (OC) in NV

It isn't illegal to ccw, OC, or even bring in a cased firearm into a hotel.  Although if OCing, they will immedately approach you. I've never seen anyone OC in a hotel b4.  But what hotels do require is for you to check your firearm with their security.  Approach any security guard and tell them u want to check ur gun.  They will walk with u to their armory where you will receive a claim check ticket. Then you go back when you're ready to leave. Some hotels will escort you out and wait till your ride shows up or to your car (Palazzo/Venetian).  Others will just let u leave (Planet Hollywood) and not at all make sure you left the property.  Many CCW and the hotels don't aren't even aware.  I've been there when it was shot show and saw a few printing. Security wasn't scanning at all.

There is no too and from law. So u can buy ammo and leave it in your car. Unlike here in HI.

You can buy a stung gun from a Bass Pro Shop off the shelf. No background check required.

Vegas does have a concealed blade length law and carrying a machete is totally illegal. I forgot the blade length law, but I know I had trouble finding a folding knife. Ended up at the Walmart and bought 1 for $12.

You can also leave your gun in your car as well, places to keep law.  It's common for a no guns allowed area (doesn't have the weight of the law), so people leave their gun in their locked glove box.

WOuld be cool if he had a suppressed SBR for the home. Much easer to move from room to room when doing daily home activates. Plus the suppressor will help the ears.  BJ Baldwin often has a suppressed firearm next to him in his home lounging pics.

Vegas does have more crime than HI, but at least you can defend yourself and not worry as much about being prosecuted.  So as long as you are aware of your surroundings, you will be relatively OK, compared to here.  Where as here with sensitive places, they disarmed almost all CCW holders. So the criminals have the advantage again.

Which I'm glad Danny the Medic has his CCW and hope he carry's everywhere. He often catches the bus to booney land to eat at a reastaurant and has to walk across an isolated open sand area.  Then he meets fans for a meal and has them pick him up too.

Another YT'er I watch is Slot Lady. She recently got a set of P365's. 1 for her and 1 for her husband. She doesn't live in Vegas, but spends a lot of time there. She plays high roller slots, so it's not uncommon for her or her husband to have $40K in cash on them.  I'm not sure if they CCW, but a smart YT'er who wins big bucks should.

When Danny mentioned the vulnerability of senior citizens, it reminded me of a story that I recently heard about.
An elderly couple was robbed while they slept in their Vegas hotel room. The perp obviously had a pass card.
They lost their wallets, cash, c/cards, ID's etc... The amazing thing is that the hotel staff tried their best
to convince the couple NOT to call the police. Was this an inside job? I have no idea if the hotel room door
had a security latch or if the latch was there but not used.

OMG that is horrible.  Lots of people are packing their own type of door security items (door stops) when they travel.

This has its pros and cons. Like in the event of a medical emergency, it will take longer for help to get into the room.  From what I've heard, a good % of room break ins are inside jobs.

The hotel safes can easily be opened and so can the door to the room.  But at the same time, if you don't have a marker or like, do you want to carry big amounts of cash on you.  We use the hotel safe, but only keep like $1K in it.

Luckily, we CCW and scan in Vegas, so carrying large amounts of cash isn't too much of a concern.  We also set our GPS before leaving the building to the car.

Do they make money per comment as well? I was emailing Color Up and he mentioned they get paid via the commercials. Which is why I sit thru them now, instead of pressing skip.  Well for channels I often watch anyways. Random channels, I press skip.  It's possible comments as well.

I get what youre saying, but what I'm getting at is that there are channels based on neutral content for controversial issues like guns, religion, sex, crude humor etc...Danny the Medic is 1 of them. He's focused on hotel and food.  Although on occasion he goes off slightly for "come on guys food and travel" (sexual innuendos).  Compare this to a more family friendly Vegas channel like Norma Geli or Pomsie.  Even Jacobs Life in Vegas, he talks about gun laws, but it's in his "new laws in Nevada" videos and mentions all the laws that would apply to the scene.  He has never stated his stance on the 2a, but I know he CCW's as I see him printing every now and then.  Usually when he's doing his "how safe is North Vegas" video or "sketchy parts of Vegas" vids.  Or if he's at Circus Circus.

Personally, I used to watch a channel Feli from Germany, formerly A German Girl in America.  She's a German living in Cincinnati and explains the diff between American and German culture, rules, social norms, words, food, etc...Then 1 video, she went sort of off on guns and how even though explaining that Germany has no 2a, guns are bad. Not just showing the diff and she sometimes dives into "whats legal in German and not the USA" and vice versa. Her attitude in the vid was more on the anti 2a side.  After that, I stopped watching her videos.  It wasn't just a comparison video between the 2 countries.

So like Danny the Medic, these are examples of "escape from the stress of the real world" type of channels.  Which is why I brought up the neutral thing.

Then enter Mr, Beast who caught some flack for his friend Chris turning into a girl.  He's smart, he never addressed it in the videos specifically or even pays any attention to it in the vids.  His vids are what I would call family friendly.  Then for someone who really watched a lot of his vids should know that Chris was his OG friend. Friends before he was famous. So I give him kudo's for not removing him from his videos. Loyalty goes both ways.  And he has removed other characters from his vids cause they "didn't fit the algorithm", but none are his OG friends.

There's a reason content creators say, "Like, share, subscribe and comment." YT algorithms look for all of that.

There's not a per-comment payment i don't think.  but the more engagement a video gets, the more likely it is to get more recommendations making it show up in viewer's feeds.  That equals more exposure and more potential views, likes and subs which bring with them ad revenue.

Danny has over 18.7K subs and > 6M views since the channel started in 2020.

Not too shabby, but also not surprising.  Before he was am EMT/Paramedic, he was in the entertainment industry.  As an actor and support cast member for many big names in Tv and movies, he had the connections, experience and resources to be a fine YouTuber.  That carried over to his second career, which obviously makes his medic videos more informative and entertaining then the average beginning YT creator.

Don't discount the advantages he had going into YT.
