Basically, this is where white women age to the point where they don't physically appeal to men any more. At that point, they find new things to keep themselves busy. Eg. Social justice crusades. It's a very common syndrome first postulated by one of my high school classmates about 40 years ago.

Note that you won't see Asian women with MAWWS because they age gracefully.  Eg. Lucy Liu.
