Russia would never aid us in a fight with China.

Not now that we pissed them off because Hillary couldn't accept defeat and had to blame it on something other than her own incompetence and unlikeability

They are natural enemies of China. We forced them together. Biggest strategic blunder of all time?

Russia would never aid us in a fight with China.  They are part of the new axis of evil,   China,  NK, Iran, Russia, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Hamas and other minor players.

Iran and/or Russia had to have planned this as Hamas wasn't capable in the past.  Probably had agents smuggled into Gaza.

Just because the US empire planned and carried out the destruction of the Nord Stream Pipeline, an act of war against its own vassal state of Germany, does not necessarily mean Iran/Russia had to have planned the current hostilities happening in Israel/Gaza.  Hamas has been around for decades, and it would be arrogance to think the Palestinians have not learned and modernized their own military capabilities during that time.

Those nations you mentioned are not part of a new Axis of Evil, but nations that include a number of other nations linking up to be free from the US empire.

If China goes for Taiwan that would mean World War 3 but this time without Russia to win it for us.
In terms of economic and possible nuclear catastrophe, it is most likely WWIII.  However, there is no guarantee that Japan, South Korea, Great Britain, or any of the US empire's other vassal states will enter into any direct conventional hostilities with China should a conflict between China and Taiwan ever arise.

I would even speculate that many of the US empire's vassal states would stay neutral to keep their own economies intact.

They are natural enemies of China. We forced them together. Biggest strategic blunder of all time?
The US empire did not force any country to join China.

The countries that are linking up with China via BRICS and etc. are doing so to escape the US empire and its shackles of global dominance.

There's no proof of that,  we have usa accountants keeping track of the weapons.  The axis of evil includes China, wouldn't be surprised.   We need to support Taiwan.

LOL!!

I was the Report of Survey (ROS) Officer for my unit once.  That's the person assigned to investigate any reported missing government property.

Do you know what the number one cause of missing property is?  It wound up on a truck along with a bunch of similar property, and there was no paperwork to say where it wound up.

In one case, there was a 4-drawer safe missing.  As far as we could tell, it was turned into DRMO (Defense Resources Management Office) as excess equipment, and the proper paperwork was not done or went missing.  No evidence of wrong-doing.

So, spare me the "they have accountants for the weapons."  Try tracking the amount of supplies and arms being transported in a hot zone when everything keeps changing.

Those "accountants" are sitting in their comfy offices far from where the arms are being sent.

I only commented that it would be arrogant to think that Hamas did not learn and modernize their own military capabilities.  I never said that Hamas did.  Big difference!

I wouldn't say they modernized.  They used drones, that's about it.  You could call what they did as combined arms attacks in a way, which is more modern than their past bum rush.  It is a new concept for a 3rd world country, but still not really modern.

Perhaps the word you're looking for is advanced and effective which they definitely were.  Coordinating all of those types of attacks is difficult to plan, setup, and execute.  Though it had to be someone else that guided them.

Wouldn't be surprising. If we lose our middle eastern outpost then gas is about to get a whole lot more expensive for us, and thinning out our supply chains would also make it more difficult to respond to conflicts in other regions.

I want to go on record that I'm having a sort of "Hmmmmm" moment.

I usually have these moments because I am a conspiracy theorist at heart.  And believe me, the first things I do is search for information to dispute my "Hmmmmm" moments.

Currently 2 things I am looking into:

Why all of a sudden, after all these decades, did Israel's intelligence lapse?

Netanyahu's government was and still is in turmoil prior to this incident.  (What better way than to start a "war" to detract from the crisis and unify the nation)

I'll be looking at other things as this Israeli/Hamas crisis continue to unfold.

I've mentioned it a few times here and it is my motto:  Question Authority.  Always.

Cannot help.  I've come to realize over the years just how far evil and corrupt people will go to attain their selfish desires and goals.

interesting point. The Hamas operation was no doubtedly large and very organized. There would have been lots of I&W. Israel's intelligence services are pretty robust.

Masaad failed? Or did they?

If one lets themselves get attacked, more western international support is acquired.

Gotta get their hands on the money being handed out like candy while they can.
