Hate is destroying our nation.  What those puke pro Palestine protesters are doing to Jewish students and staff shows that they are not really protesting what is happening thousands of miles away in a foreign land.

Jewish students and staff of a college has nothing to do with the conflict happening in Gaza.

Just like the George Floyd BS.  Did the protesters really care about what happened?  Not all.  Some were more interested in burning and destroying other people's property and the merchandise that were in it.

Hate and a weak president equals a country heading down the road to destruction.

What we are witnessing is the same dangerous mindset that was taught and accepted in Nazi Germany.  You can hate the banker who foreclosed on your property or denied you a loan; you can hate the jeweler who became rich selling his merchandise for 3 times their value; and you can hate the doctor who gets a healthy income from treating the sick.  But what you can't do is justify your hatred of the Jewish banker, jeweler and doctor and extrapolate that into hate for all Jews as a group.

Yet, here we are, 75 years later seeing students learning to hate Jews in the US for the actions of the Israeli government halfway around the world (or on the flip side of the Earth if that's your belief).

Who governs Gaza and the Palestinians there?  Since 2007, it's been Hamas.

Who is Hamas?  Hamas was founded in 1987 by a Palestinian imam and activist Ahmed Yassin.  It emerged from his Muslim Brotherhood associated Islamic charity in 1973.

When The Gaza Strip (sounds like it should have casinos!) was given to the Palestinians as part of a peace deal to stop the latest war, it was the second section of land they had taken -- the first being The West Bank.

The biggest issue now is that Gaza is isolated on one side by Israel, to the South by the Egyptian border, and to the West by the Mediterranean Sea.  Blockades that prevent the free movement of people and goods in and out of Gaza makes it effectively under military control by Israel.

This is like buying a piece of lake front property only to learn there's no access to the main road except through your neighbors' adjacent properties.  So, you either negotiate free access through their land, or you take them to court to have the government order them to allow access to the road.

The difference is, Hamas isn't going through legal channels.  They use terrorist tactics to force Israel to negotiate and capitulate.

Imagine how much better life could be for Gaza settlers if they would use their resources for their people instead of making war with Israel.  No matter how much Israel compromises, it will never be enough -- not until Israel is no longer.

Why is Hamas not flying missiles into Egypt to get free access through their land?  Maybe because the hatred of Jews taught to Muslims is more of a factor than free access.  Hamas isn't going to attack a Muslim country, because they would lose the backing or other Muslim countries like Iran.

Then there's this:
Quote
The Rafah Border Crossing is the only crossing point between Egypt and
the Gaza Strip. It is located on the international border that was confirmed
in the 1979 Egypt–Israel peace treaty. Only passage of persons takes place
through the Rafah Border Crossing; as such, the Egypt–Gaza border is only
open to the passage of people, not of goods. All cargo traffic must go through
Israel, usually through the Israeli-controlled Kerem Shalom border crossing
on the Gaza–Israel barrier.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egypt%E2%80%93Gaza_border

While the residents of Gaza may have legitimate grievances about how passage is controlled in and out of their territory, the anti-Jewish agenda can't be ignored when the rockets, drones and paragliders take flight.

I forgot who it was, but someone elses son spoke out against their dad who was a dictator. The son was a US Marine as well (IIRC, could have been US Army).  Educated in the US.

My coworker was in CA with his son to look at college campuses.  He didn't understand what was going on.  He's a Korean immigrant and came over when he was a child.  So English is his 2nd language.  Our other coworker tried to explain it to him.  He was even more confused as in "What's their problem?".

Hamas wants to negotiate to end the war.  The only one with a brain here is Israel.  They are determined to destroy Hamas as they should.  Negotiating an end to the war will enable Hamas to remain in power.  To re-group.  Re-supply.  Re-arm. Recruit new soldiers.

Keeping Hamas in power sends a message to all other terror groups.  Destroying Hamas sends a better message:  Don't f*ck with us or we will destroy you, no matter what the cost.

Unfortunately, many entities would like to keep it the way it is.  The US seems to be leading the pack.  Otherwise leatherface nancy putridosi and other pukes like her will not have anything to do.  Peace in the Middle East?  Unthinkable.

Establish a safe corridor for all those seeking protection, food and shelter to evacuate to.  Provide a temporary safe haven for them.  Then pound Hamas into the ground and kill them all.

If Hamas is permitted to still exist, then all this crap that has been going on since Oct. 7th is for nothing.  The Middle East will continue to spin around in a circle.  Rinse and repeat, as it has been doing for decades.

A victory for terrorism and the biden administration's foreign policy.

Anything the terrorists get out of their behavior will do nothing to appease them.  It will only reinforce their beilief that terrorism is a viable option to attain ones' goals or receive material support in the form of aid.

This is the reason the US adopted the stance "We do not negotiate with terrorists."  If you know going in you can't come out ahead, you're just killing innocent people and asking to be killed as well.  There's no leverage to taking hostages.

But, what did Obama do?  Paid Iran billions for the release of hostages.  Decided against retaliatory strikes for attacking our ships.   Publicly withdrew support for Israel.  Publicly tried to identify as a Muslim while denying he was actually a Muslim.  Smuggled weapons through Benghazi and Turkey for Syria.  The administration was supportive of the rebels fighting Assad, sending humanitarian aid for the refugees there.

Even though half of Syria's population was eventually killed in the fighting, he continued giving what aid he could get approved without putting boots on the ground militarily.  Looks like Biden agreed with that tactic, as this accurately depicts his actions in Gaza.

We might be helping Israel with their defense systems, but we are also lending aid and comfort to the people attacking them as well as those supporting the attackers.  We are stopping short of giving Israel support in any offensives that might end the attacks -- as far as we know.

It's like we are voting for two opposing candidates in an election.  One vote cancels the other -- ostensibly to appear neutral.  In fact, we are negating everything we do for both opponents.  We are simply enabling the conflict to continue by deminishing the costly impact of a continuing conflict.

Stuff like bombs were stopped from being shipped to Israel. ::)

Even Senator Fetterman openly disagreed and criticized biden for this decision.

Israel is doomed, and when it goes down so will the dollar. Israel is our main means of projecting power in the Middle East and influencing geopolitics.

That's the only story that matters. Everything else is propaganda and click bait.

Try to find Israel on a map.  Then explain how it's rational to leave Israel alone to fend for themselves.

That's the propaganda angle.

But you never bothered to ask why are we spending trillions to arm and destabilize one of the most oil rich regions in the world.

Angle?  Explain why it's not a fact that Israel is THE non-Muslim country in the Middle East surrounded by nearly HALF A BILLION Muslims in no fewer than 16 other countries/nations?

Population in 2024:

Egypt - 112,716,598
Sudan - 48,109,006
Libya - 6,888,388
Jordan - 11,337,052
Lebanon - 5,353,930
Palestine - 5,371,230
Syria - 23,227,014
Iraq - 45,504,560
Saudi Arabia - 36,947,025
Yemen - 34,449,825
Iran - 89,172,767
Oman - 4,644,384
UAE - 9,516,871
Qatar - 2,716,391
Bahrain - 1,485,509
Kuwait  - 4,310,108
------------------------------------
Total of 16 = 441,750,658
=====================

Israel - 9,174,520

So, explain why such a small area like Israel with about 10M citizens needs to give up land to Palestine with a population over half the size of Israel's?  Just how cramped must Israel make it's people live in order to surrender their land to another nation when the Muslim world refuses to do the same?

Give reasons for why the other 15 Muslim nations should not offer to give the Palestinians part of their massive land area?  With over 436M people collectively, Palestine would only increase their combined population by just over 1% -- not exactly a huge drain on the Muslim world's resources, is it?

What gives Palestine the right to take the land Israel claims?  Why not lay claim to land in one or two Muslim countries?  if you read the history of the Palestinians, they existed as part of the Ottoman Empire.  So, technically, they can claim any part of those 15 other nation's land as "ancestral homeland."  Why go after Israel alone?

Why is Iran so supportive of Hamas and Palestine in their fight against Israel, but they draw the line at giving them a place within Iran to make their home?

It's logic, not propaganda.
