BTW, how many accessories do you think gun stores are selling if shooters can't find/afford ammo to go shooting?

And for those able to find and afford ammo, how many are going to shoot it instead of hanging onto it to avoid having to find and afford more at increasingly higher prices?

it's all connected.  You can't isolate one product from another when one is dependent on the other.  Why buy targets, cleaning supplies, etc. when you don't have or don't want to use, the ammo?

Glad I stocked up on components and ammo over the years! 50 flats of 12ga trap target ammo, 20 flats of 20ga 30+ pounds of various pistol and rifle powder, primers out the kazoo, plenty of brass and my gestimate is about 15k of rifle and pistol bullets…oh yea…25 bricks of 22lr. I’m all set but pray my house no catch 🔥

I hope you rang those up individually and saved yourself 9 cents instead of paying the case price!

Raising prices by about 10% isn’t really gouging

Like others had mentioned
- ammo isn’t really a necessity
- it keeps the shops in business
- it keeps ammo in stock
- etc

Try checking Security.   They try to keep prices down but there is a wait list and limits

You could try this to stock up.  (You also get to go out and check out the store)
Just to support LGS, my friend and I usually buy some ammo every time we go to a LGS.  Now that guy has ammo coming out of his wazoos as he is clearing out his place to get ready to move to Maui

“What is this?  Oh shit, another box of ammo”

Or get Mrgaf to adopt you…..
