What's a good 2 stage trigger for AR15? I don't like the stock trigger but don't need the really high end 3 gun trigger... Something around a 4 lb pull...

another vote for Geissele. Many 3 gunners use a Gessiele trigger and there are several flavors. I have his National Match and his service is impeccable. very smooth and crisp. The White Oak tuned RRA it replaced was just as smooth and crisp as well. Both triggers always made weight at matches. The WOP RRA was still going at well past 10000 rounds of .22 and .223.
The next best trigger in my opinion is a Krieger-Milazzo (if you can find one) .

Stick with what's proven. There's a lot going on in a trigger. Lock-time, consistent pull weight and longevity. I have seen and read about hack jobs on the common single stage AR trigger. Most don't survive. Keep in mind that the issued, common single stage trigger is surface hardened and work done on it removes that surface hardening.

As mentioned, Geissele. Ball park $200 price

I'm in the middle of a Noveske build and am going with a SSA or SD-C setup. Both have a 4.5 lb pull with the SD-C having a flat bow.

There is also the SSA-E and SD-E with a 3.5 lb pull.

Theres also about half dozen other variations.

Check em out-

HUGE fan of the X-Treme Shooting AR trigger. Not a popular as Geissele trigger, but I feel it does rival it. I think it might have a slightly faster lock time too.

I run Geissele triggers on my precision AR's, but that's just my personal preference after buying & trying a bunch of others.

Just remember, good is subjective...what I (or others) "like", might not be right for you. So your best bet would be to visit shops and hanging out with people at the range. Fondle some triggers until you find one that feels good to you.

One more for Geissele. I have the SD-E in my AR. The flat trigger looks weird at first but feels awesome. Best trigger I used so far.

Why, yes.  A bit of work to install it, not a drop in.  Works well and you can adjust it yourself.

Thanks for the feedback. I am always up for a good challenge to install it. Just wondering if it is worth about half the price of these other triggers mentioned here.

I installed the JP Enterprises trigger today. Took me a little longer than I thought. But mostly it was due to my working slowly and reading/re-reading the instructions a few times. Plus I didn't have any red Loctite so I had to go buy some. I do have to say it was worth the effort. I really like how crisp it is and it measures about 3.5 lbs. on my trigger scale. Considering the other triggers are almost twice as much I think it was worth the effort. Especially since I am learning more about how triggers, sears and disconnectors work together. I will be buying more.
