Ready for Round 2 of the Dylan Mulvaney Boycott?
« on: October 22, 2023, 06:34:49 PM »
Apparently, the Bud Light debacle wasn't publicized broadly enough for Virgin Atlantic -- a company based in England -- to get the message.

Virgin Atlantic just named Dylan Mulvaney their Woman of the Year.

If gender doesn't matter, is a social construct, and can be anything a person wants to identify as, then why the hell is anyone crowning a "woman of the year?"  Seems a bit inconsistent.  It's like calling all animals with feathers, 2 feet and a beak 'chickens', then naming a vulture "Chicken of the Year."

I saw an excellent exchange between Charlie Kirk and some Liberal idiot Communist who said he was a Libertarian.

At least 2 times, maybe 3, the dude said he didn't agree with this tenet or that belief of the Libertarian party.  I believe his last comment was, "I don't conform to your definition of 'Libertarian'."

To which Charlie replied, "Then why are you self-identifying as a Libertarian?  You can't appropriate whatever label you choose and then redefine what it means.  You are not a Libertarian.  It's that simple."  Or something like that.

That's a perfect argument against all these trans-woman situations.  Stop calling yourself a woman -- you do not fit the definition.  You can make up your own label since you're making up everything else about yourself!

Poor, tender, lost, insecure, (unwanted?), (abandoned?) souls yearning to be acknowledged.

And accepted.   :(  boooo hoooooo.......

Problem is (my opinion) they need to love themselves first.  I believe they hate themselves deep inside and want others to tell them it's ok.

The new "look at me, I'm special" generation spawned from that 1980's bullsh*t where everybody gets a medal.

Just for showing up.  Now people get paid.

Just for showing up.  Jobs (meaningful, productive ones) mean nothing anymore.  No worries, joe will just print more.

Aspire to be a Dylan Mulvaney.  God Bless your little sick heart.

Even when he was dressed like a dude and was on the Price is Right, you can tell he's an attention whore. "everybody look at me" type of personality.

In Dylan's case, he's not even a trans-person.  He is a gay man who tried several times to gain fame and attention to himself with a sliver of success.

Only when he announced he was trans did he start getting the number of followers on social medai he craved.

He then publicly "transitioned" for 12 months to attract even more viewers.

During his speech at the Virgin Atlantic award ceremony, he labeled what he did as "coming out as trans."

Really?  He was obviously Gay before that.  Just look at the episode of The Price Is Right where all he did was act like the biggest stereotypical Gay on the planet.  He was mugging for the cameras, hoping to get attention.

You can "come out (of the closet)" as being gay, but I don't ever recall anyone ever using that term for becoming trans -- probably because changing one's gender is rather difficult to hide from people.

He's a fraud capitalizing on a delusion that the Left has embraced as progressive and courageous.

He definitely "loves himself," to the point of narcissism and arrogance.  He's a characakture of a collection of stereotypes of a woman, nothing more.  No different than if you suddenly one day claimed you are now Black, and you spent your time on YouTube eating fried chicken and watermelon, drinking orange soda, shopping for your next Cadillac, and getting your teeth capped in 14K gold.

Yet, the woke idiots believe this is something to celebrate, reward and emulate.

 :geekdanc:

I've thought about this in general. How long does 1 boycott before being considered giving in?  Like Target had gay stuff targeted toward children. Lots of  parents complained and boycotted, causing Target to remove said items.  So would it be OK if they went back to shop there?

I ask cause unfortunately, the left controls almost everything.  Which means when would the boycotts end?

You know what, it dawned on me (and this thread triggered it) that people LIE to get to where they want to be.  Whether it be fame, a better job, recognition, whatever.

Lying seems to be the new fad nowadays.  Or shall I say the dramatization of half-truths or no truths.

You see it in the media blatantly.  Its for clicks now.  Screw truth and journalistic responsibility.

Ratings rule.

And those too lazy or stupid to become carpenters, electricians, plumbers, teachers, or any other kind of meaningful, productive job professionals can make money being like

Yep.  An uncomfortable number of students, when asked what they want to do after school, will say "become famous."  Not, doctor, lawyer, real estate tycoon, or teacher, but just "famous," because in this society now, famous makes you big money, just like professional athlete does.  Only most of us aren't cut-out for pro sports, so famous is the next best-paying gig in their minds.

Just like welfare, if you pay people for doing a certain thing, you will get more of it.  Thats the "supply" increasing to meet demand.

Intersting choice of word they decided to use. I would want to be rich. Fame can be bad fame too. OJ Simpson is famous.  I can see that fame also gets very tiring and stressful.  Like how Bieber cannot walk down the street without tons of paparazzi following him.  Compare this to someone rich like a Rothchild.  Only every now and then does a cameraman follow and interview.

But I get what they're trying to ask.

.  I often don't talk as much shit cause this is a HI based forum and eventauly, I may meet the person I was talking shit to. The island is so small.  But there are 1 or 2 who I have no interest in keeping chordal with, but still hold back a lot.

Some of my social media accounts don't use my real name, so it's on like donkey kong. Others, I was forced to use my real name cause someones feelings got hurt. These accounts I don't talk as much shit.

But I get what they're trying to ask.

More specifically, being famous is their way of saying they want millions of social media followers.

It's been clinically proven that most people seeing their posts 'liked' and commented on gives them the same dopamine infusion as other actions like orgasms, drug use and running for over a certain length of time -- or more directly similar to winning at gambling.  It's what helps form addictions, and social media is highly addictive for many if not most of us.

So, if they crave more and more followers and likes, which can simultaneously be a source of financial income as well as the attention they crave, then they will do whatever they can to increase those numbers.

Pretending to be trans has already caught on, as others are following the Dylan model of having followers tune in during their transition.

Dylan hasn't committed 100% to his gender identity, which is why most people doubt his transition is anything more than a gimick -- a means to his desired goal.

So still has boto? I've wondered why he hasn't changed his name yet.  The people I went to school with, that was the first thing they changed.  Not legally, but call me X from now on. It's free and easy.

Years ago a girl who was always tomboy I ran into the mens lockeroom at the gym. At the time, I changed clothes there, but I had no issue stripping down in front of her.  She wasn't changing, but getting her stuff from her locker. She had us call her a guys name since high school , but on all her class assignments, she had to use her legal (girl) name.

Same lockeroom, ran into a gay guy I knew from high school.  Now for him, I would go change else where. But we're cool as he did say he was looking. Dat fakka. Sad part is he moved to Vegas and partied super hard.  He now is HIV positiive. IDK if he caught it in Vegas or when he was here as it can be dormant for years.  So far he's "fine" as his cocktail is working.
