That ammo art piece is sitting right next to one of my favorite brewers (Rogue) and some wine. Ammo and alcohol, sounds like a new TV show to me.

I saw it at SWAM wine store in pearl city and asked about it. Jill, the owner said it was a gift from some dude that carves them out of old shells. It was displayed behind the cashier and she took it down so I could take a pic
I want one of those... Or 2 or 3 lol.

My father made something like that while he was aboard ship.  Had the Statue of Liberty tapped into a brass casing with a center punch and a steel projectile with three pipe-threaded holes in it.  It was meant to be a gas light stand  --that's how long ago it was.  It was in three pieces, base, shell, and projectile, held together by the base and projectile being screwed toether with a long pipe in the centerline.

Wife1 and I had it in the old house in New York and had to leave it there with many other "valuable" things when we moved out to Colorado.

A couple of years later my mother sold the house and left all those goodies in there.

If anyone ever sees an artifact like that (looked like about 3"-4" caliber, from my memory) I'd sure like to know what happened to it.

Long shot, but who knows?

I do believe that the radical and crazy notion that the Founders meant what they said, is gradually soaking through the judicial system.
