How many people could an active shooter kill in in 3 minutes?  I would say easily 50 if it takes place during a Waikiki block party or Black Friday at Ala Moana.  If you add in the people would would be trampled to death while people flee in panic, dozens more would die and I don’t see how cops could get to the shooter while a mob of people fleeing for their lives are headed toward them.  But now, if you had 3 or 4 CCW holders in the area of the shooter, he could be stopped pretty quickly.

I don't think it was during this hearing, but it was brought up that say a CCW holder is 10ft from the active shooter, they could engage easily with minimally endangering others.  Then some anti 2a brought up that the stress will make the CCW holder less accurate and put others in danger.  And there's no way to train for this type of stress.

This anti-public-carry argument never ceases to amaze me.  Why would the anti's be worried about some gun nut trying to engage an active shooter?  if the cops mistake him/her for the shooter, just one less gun nut to have to be terrified of.

I was surprised that this was never brought up at all during the test oral or written.  That's why it's important to train on how to respond to LEO after everything is done.  Especially if one is successful in stopping the active shooter, the additional stress. 

Does anyone know if Dickens is OK cause he has been silent ever since he saved the day.  But maybe for legal reasons compared to BJ Baldwin who was very vocal once the Metro declared is self defense.  NV has a castle doctrine which made him immune from civil liability.  And just a few years prior to his shooting, extended it to ones vehicle.

Here is a little observation...
I attended a funeral today and about 30% of the people there had to fly in from Las Vegas.
Next year more of my friends and family are moving away.
I think if I were a young person, I would move away too, but I got too many bananas in this republik.

No need.  It's pretty clear as to the Retail Merchant's stance on this issue.  Their wishes will one day come true unfortunately.  Just a matter of time.
