Or have a friend or know of someone who carries without a permit?

I'm just curious if there are people out there who choose to carry illegally. I don't expect anyone to come out and say, "I do!", I'm just curious if it's known that there are people out there in Hawaii who do.

So you want someone that is doing something illegally to come out and tell YOU that they're breaking the law?

No. I'm looking for responses like...

1. "Yes, I know of people who carry without permits in Hawaii."

or

2. "No, I've never heard of anyone who carries illegally."

Like I said, I don't expect anyone to come right out and say they're breaking the law. I'm curious because I just came from a gun store and noticed a lot of tiny concealed carry type handguns, so it got me thinking about their uses...like why would anyone want a pocket pistol if you can't legally carry it?

This.
Maybe this thread should be closed and locked. Topic should not not be discussed. Especially on a open forum like this.

Absolutely, I carry everyday without a permit.  LE credentials have the same effect, nationwide in all localities.

I don't think he was referring to law enforcement personnel like yourself. I think he was referring to non-LE carrying illegally, which I personally think questions of that nature should be avoided in a public forum. Serves no useful purpose in my opinion

1) It's because it makes IPSC that much more challenging...

2) It matches my LV murse

wait...........what? Is this some sort of riddle?

My son was just beside me and hes 15 years of age and he read this and said    "wait............................what? Is this some sort of riddle?"

He took a little longer pause because his response had more periods in between "Wait and What?"

Yeah..I realize why this might be bad to talk about on a public forum. Sorry. .please delete!

Just kind words of advice....There are ALL kinds of people that read these forums......hint hint

Maybe the question should have been..... "Does anyone carry?"

I personally don't carry because I don't have a permit......

If I could some how apply to aquire a permit, I'd do it in a heartbeat....

Locked it up at request of the OP. I'll leave it as a future lesson to others thinking of asking the same question.
