I like playing craps.  I consider it entertainment although I admit it's much more fun when you win.  But I understand the game and know that as with slots and other table games,  it's skewed in the casino's favor.

Otherwise we wouldn't have all those pretty glitter and glamorous resorts in Vegas.
I love playing craps, just haven't been going to Vegas as often.  As well as in recent trips, haven't been gambling as much as I used to.  The pace of the game can be crazy, and I definitely have to budget.  I can play live poker all day with one or two buy-ins.  I've had two buy in for craps not last 10 mins.

I used to play poker, but since I go with Mrs. CMO, I don't got the time to sit at at table all day and feel rushed if I only have 1 hour or so.  If I were to ever go to Vegas by myself, I would go to the poker tables.

So until I began learning how to maximize my betting on craps, I didn't say craps phrases.

So when we went for the first time after Covid shut things down, I was at a $15 table at the Venetian ($66 inside).  For the first time in my life, I was able to say press and understand what it meant and took my place bets to black chips.  The guy throwing was also from HI and he threw for about 35 mins.  He suggested I regress my bets, but I told him I never ever pressed to create a black chip before.  Unfortunately, he 7'd out before hitting any of the place bets that was pressed to $100 or $120. But once his roll was done, I walked away with my first purple chip from craps. I explained the above to him and he was happy for me.  Remember, prior to this, I was just playing the pass line with 1-3x odds and maybe the 6/8. So not making much, even after a long roll. So to have green chips, let alone black chips on the table was a huge deal at this time.

Then I wanted to sound like a big shot and yell "parlay". Again, YT during the lockdowns taught me more about the betting and payouts for craps.  So my next session or so, I would put $1 on the hard ways hoping it hits so I can yell "parlay". It took a few more sessions before i was able to do so as the hards never hit.  This is a "I want to do it once" kind of thing cause I normally don't play the hards.

Yeah, craps jargon is so much fun.  It becomes a language all it's own.  I also love to yell "parlay!".  It seems so mysterious, as if a huge jackpot lurks in the near future!

Several times I did parlay a dollar hardway several times and got lucky.  So much fun!  I always make sure the dealers are in with me on the hardways.

Sometimes I like to throw a red chip and yell "Horn High-Yo!"  Sounds so cool and makes it seem like I know what da fuck I'm doing (I don't)  Never did win on that bet, lol!

Hoo boy, I know what you mean about buy-ins lasting 10 minutes (sometimes less :'()  This past trip I've had my share of those.

My son-in-law likes to play live poker.  One time at Caesars he sat in on a game then forgot that we had a 5pm reservation for Bacchanal Buffet.  They wouldn't seat us unless all of our party was present.  When he showed up my daughter ripped him a new okole, LOL!

She calmed down when he told her he won money and can pay for the buffet.

Good times!  Even when I lose......

Watched some Lucky Lee vids last night  She posted 1 vid recently, but prior to that her last vid was around Xmas time.  She also doesn't look as put together as she normally does (hair was a mess, less mak up) and is wearing glasses.  I know in the past she mentioned a mental health issue, I don't remember what type, but she posted about it.  So maybe that's still there, or maybe she could be pregnant as she does look like she's gaining more weight.

It's not uncommon for social media people to keep their lives private.

But basically, the vid I saw from Xmas time was her 3 card poker and she had a bad run. Like the hands she folded according to by the book folds, she would have won like 90% of them if she played because the dealer didn't qualify either.  This is what I call "playing the vibe of the table". My analytical friend doesn't understand this when we played roulette. Black hit 8 times in a row so I bet black, and explained why. He kept bringing up the statistical % and stuff like that. This vid had about 7K views, which equals $35 of view revenue.  She lost $500.

WHen we first began going to vegas, we were at Planet Hollywood and Mrs. CMO was playing the $1 Wheel of forturne. She had a feeling the $1K spin was going to hit. We rescheduled our dinner RSVP 3 times and she did hit the $1K spin.  The restaurant said stuff like this happens all the time. The gal said they're not busy, so just come before last call which is 10pm.

Chipmonk on crack!

I can't imagine how anyone learns to talk that fast.  Maybe she took an course on how to be an announcer reading the fine print for car and drug commercials?

So out of curiosity I checked out this girl's videos and yes, she talks too fast for me.  It's always been an irritation for me lately.  My youngest daughter and my oldest grandaughter talks like her.  I have a hard time keeping up with what they are saying, LOL!

Ben Shapiro is another one I wish would slow down a notch.

Anyone ever watched Vegas with Shin?  To me another guy who talks too fast.  He does food reviews.  On his comments section I commented nicely if he could slow down a bit on his comments.  I think he didn't like my comment because everyone commenting had a heart emoji except mine.

But I like his videos.  This guy doesn't mess around.  When he orders food he orders a lot of variety items, way more than he could possibly eat so his viewers have some idea of what the restaurant has to offer.  He brings the food home with doggie bags.

I never found myself entertained by his channel.  I watch some vids here and there if they seem really important.

Saw picks over SB weekend. Way more crowded than F1. WIll be interesting to see if quantity wins over quality.  They're also talking about an alternating SB at Vegas and Miami.

Maybe people wouldn't mind the SB not being played in their city.  Gives them an excuse to go to Vegas or Miami, LOL!

At Allegiant Stadium beer was $23.  Not sure if it was just plain Bud Light or Coors.  I got pissed off when I went Waikiki a while back and they wanted $7 for Coors.

I learned from Alan Beck that batons are illegal in NV. Wow, a state that has constitutional open carry bans batons/billys.  But they do also have a concealed blade length law and ban carrying of machete's. This I knew as I had to buy a new knife for EDC.  Went to Bass pro and they had none in the legth that I needed. Ended up at Walmart buying a $9.99 one.

Interesting as to why Nevada would ban batons.  Even machete's.  Although due to Nevada's lack of vegetation I don't see why a homeowner would need one.

Many laws are older and in a time where law makers watch too much TV. St. Benitez ruled that if the police can have them, then so can you. Which is a very good sign of things to come.

I was told by my CCW instructor that 1 reason why they made open carry permitless is because sometimes when you CCW, you need to reach up and then your shirt lifts. Thus showing the gun and now you're open carrying.

Another interesting fact is that in NV, you need a CCW permit to totally CCW. You cannot even CCW in your own home without one, or at the range.  Even though cops don't enforce this.  And this is probably why their CCW test doesn't require one to draw from concealed.

IIRC, I had to draw from a concealed holster during one portion of the NV CCW test I took from Front Sight.  In fact, they made a point of letting us know ahead of time that although we were not required to conceal during the class exercises, it was required that we wear a concealing garment the last day of class to practice that.

Most students at test time wore a vest, windbreaker or open long sleeve shirt over their t-shirt to make drawing super-easy.

What's a concealed carry course/test without "conceal?"

Illegal. But, like I said, not enforced. NRS 202.350 1(d).

Just open. Use a AIWB holster and tuck your shirt behind it. No need a full open carry type holster.

1 thing I've learned from AIWB in casino's is that no one can tell or maybe cares.
